The drivers have a personal life which imho should be respected outside of a race weekend, thats why the paparazzi are considered the piranha's of respectable media coverage, they don't have any respect for privacy. I would love too see the tables turned on them for a dose of their own medicine. :whip:

At the very least, it'd be nice to see some outlets go after the Editors and the Media Barons who let all this crap go on. For instance, it'd be pretty sweet to see somebody catch Rupert Murdoch in the kind of stings his newspapers keep catching other people in

Everyone has a right to privacy, even Alonso.

Yeah but hes moaning about a few pictures, does this guy know what his job is?

To drive f1 cars for Ferrari?
Everyone has a right to privacy, even Alonso.

than go somewhere private! simple

What's your actual problem with what he did anyway? He has no obligation in my view to be bothered by paparazzi,

All stuff like this does is distracts from f1 anyway.

My problem is that he acted like an a@@**** :wavey: threatening that he will tell the world what a horrible place that island is :wavey: what if that happened in England,France or elsewhere and he threats to tell the world how those countries are disastrous???? He is a bad character! And if this was none news it wouldnt be front page!
if he doesnt like to be bothered he either should stay home or go to more "fit for millionaires aka celebs" vacation resorts!

Maybe being bothered again by Paparazzi would make his holiday a terrible time? Wasn't that his point?

As an f1 fan, you like seeing drivers followed around by Paparazzi?

Than how would I see this :yikes:

http://motorsport.nextgen-auto.com/Alon ... razzi.html

I know! i absolutely love it when paparazzi follow me around everywhere i go while i'm on holiday taking photos of my and generally attracting a lot of attention towards me when clearly, by looking at the state of my beard, you can tell i dont want to be recognized. And the icing on the cake is when i step into the airport thinking that my "holiday" couldnt get any worse when to my surprise i see a bunch of photographers to take MORE pictures of me!

They had obviously ruined his holiday and he was sick of it. But for your sake, yes, he sure is a devil.

You care to much about what someone who clearly is looking for a rise thinks, THAT SAAAAAIIIIIDDDD........, as a "self proclaimed red bull fan" i find it interesting how often you rush to Alonsos defence and never to a certain Mclaren drivers, , or shall i find the australian hoon driving, twitter, and personal life affected my championship threads and see if your as defensive of Lewis. Id rather you just put your driver preferences and differences out in the open to be honest, because as a red bull supporter you "should" be impartial and indifferent to the others, i know pretty much everyones on here apart from 3 or 4 and your one. Im not saying you should be defensive of Lewis as your a red bull fan, but christ let it be known where you stand, i actually really mistrust forumners who rarely let on who it is theyt actually support but are caught up in so many controversial threads and have an opinion on everything, its like, what is it your trying to hide?

Also i dont know how old you all are but you should know by now that the media have a job to do and in liberal countries they have every right to photograph alonso etc, alonso on holiday does not mean the entire world is. Sure he has every right to be annoyed, but that comes with the job,

F1 drivers shouldnt care squat that their " holidays" are ruined by paparazzi given that the """"ers are driving racing cars for a living and getting paid s*it loads to do it, whilst most fo the world survives on a shoe string and has far worse problems. Id personally be inviting the papz to my mansion to get piss drunk and make fools of ourselves.

"You care to much about what someone who clearly is looking for a rise thinks", Not sure what you mean by this. Mind rephrasing?

I really dont understand why you really dont believe that I'm a redbull fan, yes i defend alonso when he gets attacked for things that i dont think are worth attacking someone over, for example being chased around by paparazzi.

If you want to see me defending Lewis go to the "Lewis vs Jenson" thread. I have nothing to hide about who i support.
And for future reference if you see a thread which is about a negative thing related to lewis you can expect people commenting in it to also be talking negatively about him.
Also, being a redbull fan, during the off season we havnt really seen many interesting topics about them in which case you would have seen me defending them were they attacked for something they didnt deserve to be attacked about.
If you really want to see me defending Redbull go to one of the threads created about the Turkish GP incident where i ranted and raved at an insane level.

And back to the topic:

While they might also be racing drivers they are also human (yeah, i know, hard to tell :hehe: ) and as a human im sure not many people would like to be followed around by paparrazi, sure you might like it but thats just a matter of personal taste. If you are someone who cares about what other people think of you as we see in Alonso then maybe you dont want everyone seeing how you spent a week on holiday. On the other hand there are plenty of drivers with the "i dont give a damn" attitude who dont care about what people think of them.

Havent read it yet, but gotta read this....

Though he'll (Hughes) probably come up with an article next month saying "Ha! suckers... got you there for a sec!!"
and go on with an article showing how Lewis would be able to stop an alien invasion on pure language skills.

 Nope. This weeks article is a technical article about the new speck engines for 1213 , the pros and cons and the conflicts involved in developing them and maintaining cost controls.
Flea, perhaps you should read the articles before making asinine coments.

Yeah it was a bit heavy.and actually it wasnt this weeks, it was the 16th-23rd Dec bumper issue..and it arrived yesterday :irked: This week's arrived today and he writes about how cars would look had the techies not been shackled. There is a stunning picture of Adrian newey's virtual reality X1 Red Bull. 190mph average speed round Suzuka and Vettel took a virtual 20sec of his Suzuka pole time in it. Ive not read it all but hes talking about the two extremes i think, techies left to their own devices on the one hand and techies with the weather to play with to make a difference...artificial rain.
