Back on topic! I agree with Vapin.

How can you agree with that asswhole?

Jaysus! Because I spelled your name wrong, for a minute there I actually thought I had a two-face vapin/vaptin scanario on my hands :hehe:

I was aiming for that.

Dammit the off season is boring, I'm gonna go poke bud with a stick and see if I can run quickly enough before he rips my head off, wanna come?

Yes RC he should have taken the Alonso vaccine,he is definetly infected now,and I dont see a cure for the future, unless he get a blood transfusion,(Lewis blood) and gives Alonso a taste of 2007!

:troll:

Seriously, the anti bill thing was the best thing I've come up with in a long time.

Actually, get into an argument with bill will you? I want to see if you mutually destroy each other,

Do you Actually disagree with my opinion or have a better solution for Massa or WHAT????

It's offseason relax whats with all the destruction thing,no sense of humor ?
I only agreed with Racechick that Massa needed to grow some and stand up! I dont see you jumping her throat,or it's a selective thing? :wavey::wavey:

A word about Massa before he's completely rubbished and slagged off.

-He's been team mate with Schumacher, and was getting the upper hand .- I watched them race at Turkey when lewis was blitzing GP2, the race betwen Alonso and Schumacher was close and exciting, but it was for second place, Massa was a country mile down the road.
-He's partnered Kimi and was getting the upperhand.
- He nearly beat Lewis for the championship in 2008.
This is not some guy who can't race. Ok so whats gone wrong this year(apart from being partnered with an egotistical, selfish, mardy baby)

*he hasnt coped with the tyres. Nor has Schumacher. (Interestingly Schumacher tutored Massa)
*he couldnt drive round the tyre problem. Nor could Sch...see above
*He hasnt coped psychologically with being shat on

The last point I think is Massa's real weeakness. He has allowed an arrogant, egotistical driver to undermine him and mess with his head ....as Hamilton never did...and nor would schumacher. So yes Massa has a flaw, but its not his driving.

Such bs. His only problem was his tyres which put him in a 2nd driver role.

If he gets on top of his tyre issue everything else will fall into place and he will be able to push Alonso.

It sounds like you gotta bigger issue with Alonso than he does lol

Why would LDM give him such a public flogging for tire pressure?

The unemotional facts are that Ferrari tried to keep Massa out front in Germany, but he could not match the pace of the two cars behind him. Also, without question, if Massa were faster than Alonso....he would be enjoying the number one position within the team. There is no way Ferrari would favor the lessor of their drivers. Their somewhat fanatical fans would flip out. Massa was slow this year, and his childlike handling of Germany should have cost him his job. He handled it like an unprofessional child and cost his team a bunch of money and bad press. I can't blame a Ferrari boss if he is pissed at him for it. They spent a lot of radio time during Germany begging him to speed up...he was incapable. Nobody's fault but his own.

On the other hand, Ferrari should be grateful to FM for ultimately getting the ban on team orders lifted at a relatively cheap price of 100k

Like any boss would do at the end of a season. Just look at the points regardless of the 7 he lost out on in Germany. He can only care up to a point about his tyre issues before it just becomes a situation of "Do a better job, or else!".

And it is nothing close to the Flavio slammings we use to see, it's more a mild prod to do better next year which should fire Massa up not put him further down.

Massa's tyre issues were his only problem this year. Once he had the super soft compound on the Ferrari Massa could match or even beat Alonso. It's pathetic that most on this forum just use Massa's issues as yet another way to hit out at Alonso.

The destruction thing was a pretty obscure and badly written joke on my part, it was in reference to when a particle and its corresponding anti particle meet, so don't worry,

What opinion? Your post just had a load of fanboyish references with Hamilton v Alonso as usual it seems), state your sodding opnion coherently, without all the :bs: and I might be able to work out what your actual opinion is.

Now that's why I didn't jump down racechicks throat, she wrote pretty logically, oh and she can ban me if I really annoy her :hehe:

Hex - Yeah its clear Massa's performances correlated with what tyres were being used (harder V softer specifically), but Ferrari did put effort into helping him resolve that, but his results just didn't match up this season for the expectations he is expected to fufill, and it was pretty clear that he would become a number 2 in 2010 the way he was going.

With Kubica, it just seems like he'd perform better than Massa overall, even discounting Massa's tyre issues.

i think also that with the calibre of alonso and how well he drove in the second half of the season, the standard has been raised plus also with all respect to raikkonen, he didnt seem to show much passion so massa was only comparable to kimi so if alonso had been in ferrari say in 2008, massa would have to had to raise his game

so my point is that massa has had it easier over the 2007/2008 seasons because of being team mates with raikkonen who is a fairly good driver but not to the same standard as alonso so massa you could say has been allowed not be to complacent but more relaxed than now.
