Yes there seems to be some conflict yet may I add that Bob Varsha mentioned during quali he was doing doughnuts. I agree with buds above comment and as I mentioned good on Hammy for showing a lighter more human side of him than the god like status that he is held to by some. I have never disliked like Hammy and my fondness for him grows more and more with stories such as this, Hamilton WDC (World Doughnut Champion ).

Jeez, he did a bit of a wheelspin and got a little sideways so what, I can almost guarantee every male on this forum who has a driving license (and I'm pretty sure with most of us being petrol/racing heads 99% of us do) every one of us has done the same or something very similar at some point in our lifes

yup, too many do gooders in todays society

Bottom line is none of us are perfect were only human and we do fcuk up occasionally, yesterday was his turn I guess, I wont say any more till I see the vid (when is it being released?) if its just a small playfull spin leaving the car park then this should be the end of it, but if its a full blown 7-8-9k sideways launch leaving the car park with the revs bouncing off the limiter (which I doubt) then it was a bloody silly thing to do

So how was that a silly thing to do. lewis is a good driver and whats the chance of him losing control of the car. we all do that same s*** and I dont see why he should apologise at all cos I wouldn.t. I'll happily pay my fine and tell em to stuff it. I will put my tail between my legs if they drag me to court ofcause and then and only then will i utter a small "sorry I wont do it again in YOUR country" end of !!! So no lewis. smile it off, Never apologise for being a guy !!. .. unless ofcause.........

and ill say it again being an Aussie. The hoon laws rules are pretty simple and to have your car impounded requires a multiple offence or something really really bad, a fishtail is not really really bad. this is a total stunt by the cops. If it was anyone else behind the wheel a fine is all what would have been given!
