I know I have

Nobody cares what you have done.

You are not a former world champion. Nobody looks up to you.

Hamilton is. Not commenting on how bad the incident is or isn't as none of us here actually seen it. Nobody here knows 100%.

Regardless it flies in the face of :

The FIA will be the least impressed of all.

No s*** sausageface bu I'm not going to be a hypocrit And critisize him for something I myself have done! unlike the anti hamilton lambs!

A fishtail is nothing compared to speeding!

Was it fishtailing or did he make donuts? Conflicting reports out there...

[bud]

When you take off with wheel spin with the rear end sliding left then right with forward motion.

Burnouts are done with no forward motion

Donuts are circle work!

Fishtail is what he did.

Yes there seems to be some conflict yet may I add that Bob Varsha mentioned during quali he was doing doughnuts. I agree with buds above comment and as I mentioned good on Hammy for showing a lighter more human side of him than the god like status that he is held to by some. I have never disliked like Hammy and my fondness for him grows more and more with stories such as this, Hamilton WDC (World Doughnut Champion ).

We will all speed, it's in us. I don't really care to be honest, get him on the track and fight Alonso!!!! we need to beat the Red Bulls!!!! I prefer McLaren to win rather than RBR...

[7UpJordan]

To look at it from one way, at least he didn't do what Ant did and end up spinning it into somebody's back garden.

[RA Dunk]

Jeez, he did a bit of a wheelspin and got a little sideways so what, I can almost guarantee every male on this forum who has a driving license (and I'm pretty sure with most of us being petrol/racing heads 99% of us do) every one of us has done the same or something very similar at some point in our lifes

People are making a total mountain out of a Mole hill on this one as per usual, he fcuked up, he said sorry, he will be fined, what more do people want his head?

You know people now days......

You know people now days......

yup, too many do gooders in todays society

Bottom line is none of us are perfect were only human and we do fcuk up occasionally, yesterday was his turn I guess, I wont say any more till I see the vid (when is it being released?) if its just a small playfull spin leaving the car park then this should be the end of it, but if its a full blown 7-8-9k sideways launch leaving the car park with the revs bouncing off the limiter (which I doubt) then it was a bloody silly thing to do

So how was that a silly thing to do. lewis is a good driver and whats the chance of him losing control of the car. we all do that same s*** and I dont see why he should apologise at all cos I wouldn.t. I'll happily pay my fine and tell em to stuff it. I will put my tail between my legs if they drag me to court ofcause and then and only then will i utter a small "sorry I wont do it again in YOUR country" end of !!! So no lewis. smile it off, Never apologise for being a guy !!. .. unless ofcause.........

Was hoping to see some clips of him actually commiting the offence not some jumped up news story

and ill say it again being an Aussie. The hoon laws rules are pretty simple and to have your car impounded requires a multiple offence or something really really bad, a fishtail is not really really bad. this is a total stunt by the cops. If it was anyone else behind the wheel a fine is all what would have been given!
