It's not Lewis Hamilton's fault the Mp4-24 is a piece of junk. Give him a competitive car and he can beat Button or any other driver on any track on anyday. Your all just jealous that Lewis Hamilton is the best driver in Formula 1 today.

Well, actually, that's not quite true.

See Malaysia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Italy (qualifying) and Japan. Without those major mistakes, McLaren would have been able to focus much more on their 2009 challenger...

In what way does that response make sense? Not one single person for at least a page said Lewis was doing a poor job.

But, incidentally, if you actually think your son can do that Anthony, you're extremely deluded. There is no way proven winners in F1 can be totally dominated by other drivers. It does not happen.

ugh kinda i guess if he dominated like button is but the car wasn't that good it was pretty evenly matched to the Ferrari.

Eitherway i dont' get why Acenyc posted that bit pointless.

This is true, but this wasn't down to the car performance - it was down to a rather large number of mistakes. I agree on your second point, though - it was unnecessary >.<

I thinks his mistakes come down to running the MP4-24 to the ragged edge. Compare this years Lewis to Last years Jenson.

Was Jenson pushing as hard last year as Lewis is this year? I am not saying who is a better driver, because if you give Jenson a fast car. He will not put one foot wrong as we have seen. Lewis on the other hand will run a fast car to its ragged edge.. More exciting, but does that make him a worse driver?

I disagree with that. In Malaysia, he and Kovalainen made a stupid mistake in qualifying which cost them good results in the race. In Canada, he had a complete brain failure and didn't stop for a red light, despite Raikkonen and Kubica having stopped ahead of him. Qualifying in Italy was ridiculous. And the first corner at Fuji was utter stupidity. >.<

I don't necessarily disagree with you Denthul. I just can't remember anything memerable coming from Jenson last year. This year he talks about how he sweats in the car and how nervous he is to make sure he gets it all right. We see a "Sunday Drive" on TV. It looks effortless. BE said that jenson winning all the time was bad for the sport. I don't believe that. But the only competition he has right now is Vettel, and if he gets in front of him, its all over.... (I'd throw weber in there too)

Meaning he does not have to drive too hard...

it will make him better to watch on TV, which is why most of us watch it in the first place

for sheer entertainment i love watching lewis above anybody else when hes pushing it to the limits 8-)

i really dont get how those mistakes if they didnt happen would have help this years cars :S :bs: and i get get why everybody always uses his mistakes :hehe:

I think although he is a better driver than jenson he`s alot less experianced as well, you take an inexperianced person in one job and give them a new job or role and mistakes will be made, its how they deal with and bounce back from these mistakes that make the difference over all
