Wait...

Feeling hungry? Need to Quench that Thirst?

Trek into your local Walkabout for the best food and drink this side of the big red rock. We combine the best range of quality Aussie & Kiwi beers, with a superb range of tucker to suit all tastes and budgets.
Take a taste from the Wild Side

How about trying something a bit more adventurous next time - look what we have on the menu

Kangaroo
A truly mouthwatering lean, red meat. Like all game, kangaroo is a healthier alternative to traditional red meats and is especially good at reducing cholesterol. Just as importantly, it’s absolutely delicious – especially when served pink!

Bush Tomato Chutney
Sun-dried on the bush, Aussie bush tomatoes are hardy little fellas that grow in the red hot heart of Oz. Harvested in the traditional way by Aboriginal women, they make a gutsy, tangy chutney with a feisty kick.
We're also famous for our Handbuilt Burgers

All our burgers are handmade to our own recipe with 100% beef and taste absolutely fantastic! All served with chips, beer -battered
onion rings and salad garnish. And if you fancy a change, try chicken, lamb, kangaroo, springbok or veggie burgers.

I think we're the only country that eats the animals on its coat of arms.

We're being urged to eat Kangaroo meat here because they're beginning to cull the kangaroos.
Quite controversial, actually.

I've had it before.
And I've had alligator.
And emu.

That was when I was about 8 or 9, though.
It was during NAIDOC celebrations.

I've had kangaroo after that, but it tastes very...strong?
I'm not very good at describing it.

But alligator was very very tough.

I'm a very fussy eater.
I only took it to be polite, so I kind of...just swallowed it.
