Ask Kimi.
You're like a dog chasing a car. You'll never catch it and you just wouldn't know what to do with it if you did

Added to the fact the Ferrari had more tracks which suited it better!
I would argue against that. I think the F2008 had a slight speed advantage. But the McLaren was 100% reliable throughout the season. Neither Ferrari or the F2008 were reliable. A few engine failures, and seriously botched pit stops lead to Massa's demise.
But it's hard to argue. I mean there were many weekends like Valencia, Turkey, Singapore, Belgium that you could argue both McLaren and Ferrari were equal and one driver just did the better job. Or you could argue it's the car. I mean, Kimi and Kovy were off-colour so often, it's hard to judge against their team-mates.

I'd say the fact he put it in the wall at oz and then spun of in malaysia and spun it out of the points in silverstone also didn't help masa.
You can't blame 1 botched pitstop and 1 engine faliure when Mclaren also had an engine failure it was Hekki not Lewis.
The F2008 was better at 70% of the circuits.

Actually, they botched the pit stop in Canada and Singapore. Plus sending him out too late in Silverstone, so that he couldn't set a 2nd lap. Lewis had a McLaren and a team that never once failed him. Any problem during his races were down his own driver errors. Thats why I personally I think Lewis was 10x better in 2007. During 2007 he drove like a seasoned driver and was exceptional. Whilst 2008 he drove more like a rookie.
But again, last year you can't say for definite that McLaren or Ferrari were better at some circuits. Yes, early on Ferrari were clearly better at places like Malaysia, Bahrain, and Barcelona. Whilst McLaren were a clear force during Germany, Montreal, and China. But at some tracks like Hungary, Singapore, Valencia, or Spa. How do you know it just wasn't down to driver.
Ferrari have definately lost their organisation compared to the Schumi days.
