Blimey, you must have loved Hungary '06
The Frome Flyer: Smoother, Smarter, Calmer, Winner.
Jenson Button: Professor, Chauffeur, World Champion Racing Driver.
When i was a kid i just supported the Brits, and i obviously picked up on Button cause Damon Hill retired- i guess i still support JB from that mentality, and Hungary '06 was undoubtedly my favourite F1 moment of recent yearsalthough now, while i'm glad he's doing well, i'm not so arsed because he's no longer the underdog...
On the other hand, the success is the perfect antidote to his career nearly being destroyed by Honda, doncha think?
Definitely, like i say, i'm not at all complaining with how things are going this season, and it is about time - he is one of 3 drivers who i especially like to see win - i think the reason i say i'm not as arsed as i would have been previously is because for me, a brilliant F1 race takes precidence (to an extent) over seeing 'my' drivers do well... casing point being races like Silverstone, Monaco, Belgium and Brazil last year, Belgium 1995, etc etc. Of course, races like that where your driver/constructor wins are the ultimate preference! (Belgium '98 for example!)
