1)littl teams like minardi and simtek and AGS and larousse and jordan you get my drift
2)amazing tracks like brands, estoril, the nordshleife, zandvoort etc.
3)herman tilke to be killed
4)drivers with personality, not manufactured like LH is but with personality, like hunt or mansell

Or Frentzen, never taking himself too seriously and always having a joke. Not too bad behind the wheel either. We need more HHF's in today's corporate image of F1. Sponsor's would never go for it, yet it's nice to have dreams...

or jos the boss, well because he's got a cool nickname

I remember Verstappen's debut in Brazil 1994 and Murray pronounced the "J" in Jos like a normal J instead of a Y, and he did the same with the "ch" in Barrichello.

Jos Verstappen was very underated at Benetton I thought , I mean he was 3rd in a couple of races . in Hungary and in Spa . He got 10 pts to Lehto's 1 in 1994 in the shared seat.

I dont get that from the post? Schumi is at Ferrari thus that is why I find the statement alittle confusing, maybe I'm missing something?

I second that also Alonso to have his superlicense removed for being a bad sport.

p.s Schumi works for Ferrari as a special advisor to the team but i know what you mean - driving full time again - not as a part time test driver

Something I forgot to add to the list, one MAJOR thing I would love to see return.... sparks!! Cars running low enough to bottom out on main straights throwing a shower of sparks, especially in the early stages of the race.

The problem with that is the FIA have outlawed the titanium skid blocks that were used during that era. In fact I used them myself in one race during my formula Atlantic racing. I had the lead and going down the hill at Lime Rock my car bottomed and the second place car backed off because he thought something broke. Gave me enough of a lead to concentrate and pull away for the win.......
