The marshall might be waving a green flag on the right but the yellow lights in cockpit remained on until entering turn 4,but he still overtook,he should have known there were yellows (if that's the case)!

Give it up and take it on the chin, Nin-Chin.

Yeah what he said.

You know Vettel is so good, that he saw that green flag as he was whizzing by at 180 Mph in the rain and immediately knew he could ignore the yellow lights on the cockpit, and ignore that he hadn't yet gotten to the green light up ahead.

Let's look at the bright side everyone, we've gotten a very good granular education on how the lights/flags/stations work. F1 is the sport that just keeps on giving. :cloud9:

Assuming the air intake at the base of your arrow is the center of the helmet, he's looking straight ahead, where he should be looking while doing 180 in the rain and trying to overtake. The camera is on the left side of the T bar so the angle is inherently skewed a bit. You can easily draw the same arrow from the center of the helmet to the perspective vanishing point of the image.

by the design on his helmet I'd say he is looking in his right hand mirror

You gotta look at the dingy on top, which is centered front (on all his helmets, regardless of design).
This design 'turns right' ;-)

We now have definative proof of everything Seb was thinking about and what he was looking at...

But to use that technique you need to take the arrow all the way from the back of the helmet, through the centre-line of the helmet, and out to the horizon. You cant just draw a line from the front of the helmet to the thing you want him to be looking at. And regardless - even if his helmet is pointing to the left - what about the vertical angle...? He could be looking in his left wing mirror for all we know.

See, even a slight change in direction by the helmet has him looking in a completely different part of the track....

If only there was an eyeball cam as I'm sure Seb is able to move his eyes independently of where his head is turned.
