You know Vettel is so good, that he saw that green flag as he was whizzing by at 180 Mph in the rain and immediately knew he could ignore the yellow lights on the cockpit, and ignore that he hadn't yet gotten to the green light up ahead.
Let's look at the bright side everyone, we've gotten a very good granular education on how the lights/flags/stations work. F1 is the sport that just keeps on giving.
The marshall might be waving a green flag on the right but the yellow lights in cockpit remained on until entering turn 4,but he still overtook,he should have known there were yellows (if that's the case)!
