I'm sure other drivers past and present have felt the same way, but the problem with Hamilton is that he says them out loud to the press. His on track performance is brilliant and he brings a level of excitement to the sport that even the Haters would hate to lose. ( 2 most exciting races last year Spa and Brazil). Where Lewis falls short is in the PR department, Is Anthony supposed to be looking after that part of his career ? Someone should be looking over his shoulder and reviewing every statement he plans on making before he makes them to the press. With his current car being so slow and Mclaren's scandal at the beginning of the year, he would be wise to keep his negative statements to himself, and let his driving do the talking.

he whinges the most out of any of the top current drivers yet gets half the criticism Lewis!

He gets less criticism, because he gets himself involved in much less controversial situations and handles them better.

na he gets less criticism because he doesnt suffer from the tall poppy syndrome!

Kubica, actually non of the other drivers come out with stuff like 'I never get passed on the outside, not me' It's always way more fun to take shots at arrogant people

When did he say that?

Hamilton listens too much to his PR men/Dad.
I think deep down he's not anywhere near as arrogant as what is perceived. And I uphold that he is a driver with loads of talent. He needs to drop this image though - as though almost he is a Hollywood A lister. He is struggling atm because he wants to criticise but feels constrained that he can't

Before Spa last year. When Massa overtook him at the start in Hungary
Then Raikkonen did it to him at Spa next time out hahah!

Hah, i remember that, the fact that it happened that soon after it was said amused me :D twas a shame Raikkonen didn't go on to win, but ah well, life goes on.

Think Hamilton learnt from that though. I can't remember him making any of those sort of comments since...

Yes I think he did, but the thing which made that whole thing worse, was remember in France earlier in the year:

"I can win from the back, If I do I will be a legend" etc etc. He got egg on his face then, and I thought he would have learned his lesson then,
But no, he came out with that outside pass remark.
I hope he has learned his lesson.

For me, that one wasn't so bad, it was the ones ridiculing his opponents - 'no one can pass me round the outside', 'i don't want to be stuck with the monkeys at the back' etc etc
