I personally can't stand Indy or NASCAR and I agree that it is more of superficial pleasure than F1 or IMSA. I grew up going to IMSA races with my father during its glory days and have just recently gotten back into racing since I started watching F1 this year (used to follow F1 back in the day, too). So, coming from an American who has access to 'circle jerker' racing in his home country, I say to you others out there in the world...be thankful that you have F1 so close to home. I just hope I can have the same sometime soon.
