I just joined this forum with hope of getting some proper knowledgable discussion with proper F1 fans and watchers (As appose to the usual drival from the ferrari worshipers on the F1 Picks application on Facebook)....but i have come across the exact same poo...
Lewis got the most points, he is champion...Massa said so himself.... :drink:

The counter argument seems to be:

* track temps / tyre pressures
* Glock struggles with traction
* it was too wet

None of this deals with the following:

(1) Hamilton gaining 15+ seconds on Glock in the last 30 seconds of the race
Glock lost time because he had no traction.

(2) The track is drying as their hasnt been rain for some time
Wrong it started to rain harder glock said it himself - get your facts straight

(3) The track is obviously and relatively dry compared to the preceding laps
Wrong against and isn't that the same at point 2 so now you repeating your stupid arguments!

(4) Glock's split times show he is not suffering substantively from the conditions
Wrong again he lost time at every speed trap compared to other drivers.

(5) The conditions for DRY TYRES are improving not worsening
No they were not it got wetter - this is the same as point 2 and 3 so reapting the same thing!

(6) There is no direct handling of the incident in the media by Glock, Toyota, McLaren or the stewards
What incident? there is no incident glock got passed by 2 people because he had no traction its racing you fool!

(7) The incident is at least worthy of the questions being asked but it is noticeably lacking and not for the want of evidence.
If they ask questions about this, lets as questions about China when Kimi had to slow down to let Massa past how can you whine about this when it was BLATANT team orders in china.

It is understandable and reasonable when it is teaming down with rain, or where there are clear traction difficulties.. but was this evidenced?

You just said it yourself its understandable if it was teaming down with rain, well it was! and there were traction difficulties!

Although I am not saying it is the case, on the assumption that an order was sent to allow Hamilton through, it can also be assumed that both drivers were told to ease off in the final stages.

You are saying its the case tho aren't you! becuase otherwise why would you make such a long winded over the stop post which is utter bullshi*te and made up facts?!

Things like FACTS don't appeal to people like Truthadjuster, they ruin his bigotted perception of the world. Maybe oe of the F1 teams should hire him as it seems he knows more about the handling of the cars than the people who drive, design and or build them.
his next post will be something like: "the other teams decided to switch to int/wets just for the sheer hell of it, I think they wanted just to let the pit crews have one last go at being on telly this season. I think all the TV footage has been doctored to make it look like it was raining, and the commentators have been dubbed to say 'it's raining' and 'it's starting to rain quite heavily' ' Ron Dennis and Maclaren have bribed a multibillion dollar international car manufacturers to lose.'

THIS POST IS AIMED AT ANYBODY WHO THINKS THE GLOCK FINAL CORNER WAS /FIXED/SHOCKING/WRONG WHATEVER.

For the last 2 weeks Alonso has said that he would do what he can to help Massa win the world championship.
For the last 2 weeks Kimi has said that he would do what he can to help Massa win the world championship.

Both of these comments suggest that if the race would have had Massa behind either Kimi or Alonso then they both would have slowed, moved over and let Massa glide though, nobody was mentioning how wrong this was, there comments were taken with a pinch of salt.

2 weeks ago in China, in perfect conditions, Massa (the so called deserving champion) couldn't get anywhere near Kimi to make the smallest challenge so what happens, Kimi slows and lets Massa glide through, now i dont give a s*** if they are team mates and its expected to happen, to me if i beleived that Glock moved over on purpose, i would say that these 2 incidents are near identical, if anything the Ferrari one even more blatent

Now because Glock driving a Toyota on a damp track with worn dry tyres, loses a lot of time on the last 2 laps, everybody is in uproar like Lewis cheated his way to the title, or there was some kind of pay off involved.

Didn't you people see the start of the GP when it rained for a few minutes, stopped, there was a damp track, and the times were considerably higher than what they were when the track was dry, not to mention the fact that they were all on inters and still sliding about the place.

Now, honestly, if Glock did slow on purpose, i couldnnt give a s***, because i know that Kimi or Alonso would have done the exact same thing had the situation been reversed.

Is that how we do that, TruthTellerF1?

Look at it like this:

1) When Barrichello switched to extreme wets in Silverstone, he was lapping at over thirty seconds a lap quicker than people on intermediates. Obviously, with dry tyres not being designed to handle rain in the slightest, the difference could easily and realistically been more than fifteen seconds.

2) It was still raining at the time.

3) See above.

4) His times were fine on the preceeding laps, when the track wasn't as greasy. All the while, his tyres were losing temperature.

5) Not really, considering it was still raining.

6) It's not really an incident and Glock has already come out and explained what happened. Trulli was the only other driver still on dry tyres and his lap time was just as slow as Glock's.

7) Why? It seems perfectly reasonable that in some light rain a guy on dry tyres had to slow his car significantly in order to keep it on track and bring it home in the points. When Raikkonen pushed in the light rain at the end of Spa, he binned it and ended up trading paint with the wall.

OK, lets deal with this logically.

(1) Silverstone - it was pouring with rain. Barichello was on extreme wets and it was 30 seconds a lap quicker. There was surface water and aquaplaning-a-plenty. Brazil was not as wet, in fact it is arguable whether it was barely wet at all on the last lap according to pictures and TV coverage we are looking at intermediates vs dry. Finally it was almost 18 seconds over half a lap. It doesnt add up.

(2) I have seen no evidence that it was "still" raining during the last lap at Brazil.

(3) I contend the track was relatively dry... dont believe me... check out the ACTUAL move

Image

(4) His times were fine because he wasnt suffering in the conditions. No one can tell me that this image is SPA or SILVERSTONE. Simply, it is not. Conditions were improving which is why Hamilton could not catch him on intermediates. The argument is correct - tyres are crucial but the conditions were not wet per se.

(5) It was not still raining.

(6) & (7) Its not an incident if you dont want it to be (as with anything). Fact remains, if Glock and / or Trulli were given instructions to hand the title to McLaren then we have a major problem. Let's get the radio transmissions and see - one thing is for sure, its not wet and dry vs inters wont hack it.

People, open your eyes.

Clearly quite a bitter person here. Is it so unreasonable that Lewis just won the championship because Glock struggled on the wrong tyres for the conditions?

I bring up Silverstone as an example of what the right and wrong tyres can do to you. The difference between a standard dry tyre and the intermediates is far more significant than the intermediate and extreme wets, therefore fifteen seconds is reasonable for the time difference between dry and intermediates. As for it not still being damp and rainy, just watch the onboard shots:

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8_avdUQmYUE

There are still drops of rain getting on the cameras. In addition, the guys on intermediates are still sliding around a little, so the guys on dries had little chance of doing better in those conditions.

It's just this TruthTellerF1 character.

It seems that some people are so desperate to paint Ferrari fans as bad losers, that they're completely blind to the fact that TruthTellerF1 is clearly a troll, and I'd say not a Ferrari fan at all. More likely a McLaren fan embarrassed by the dignified way that most Ferrari fans have taken the result, and determined to set up a straw man to knock down.
#78442
one minor point: The stewards have full access to recorded team radio transmissions - they only have to ask for it.

The simple and unavoidable fact is that the only people who can actually make any comment on what the conditions on the track were are the 18 people who were driving around the track at that time. If Ferrari suspected foul play they would have been in the stewards office faster than you can say "phone a friend"
#78444
Just out of interest, is there a rule that makes it illegal to slow down and let another teams driver get passed?

strictly speaking no...but i imagine that when it's within a team (like Kimi and Massa 2 weeks ago) there would be a code word, or it would just be suggested and the other driver is just supposed to take that as a hint....!
#78446
This person sure is a troll... a really stupid, laughable attempt at one anyway. :D
