As far as his fluffed pitstop it seem's that the team were still adjusting his tire pressure's but he came in a lap earlier than expected. No sense in argueing amongst ourselve's as we will either have to wait for a press release but most likely we will never know the REAL truth.

What i heard from one of the McLaren team members is that they were trying to save fuel to get another lap out of the stint and managed it, but there was basically just badly timed communication and Hamilton only got the message that there was enough for another lap when he'd committed to the pitlane. Strange incident.

You heard this directly and inperson from a team member? That scenario is very believeable and frankly it does not matter to me either way, Lewis lost a race that he should have won but hey that's racing right?

Yeah, pretty sure it was Whitmarsh who was talking in an interview in either the highlights programme, or the post-race BBC bonus coverage thing we get.

True and it was confirmed in the team's press release after the race.

hey were trying to see if they could ekk out another lap of fuel from lewis's car and change pit stops between lewis and heikki , but they told lewis to come in , but when lewis had turned into the pit lane they had worked out he would have another lap of fuel , the front and rear wheel mechanics always go out a lap before the tyre and fuel guys , as the saw lewis coming down the pit lane the had to leg it out the back to get his tyres not heikki's  bad times :irked::blush:

I'm so glad Rubens won. I was going for him as if he were a Ferrari driver. Just so Lewis wouldn't win. Well done Rubens. You did your deed, And as I was concentrating on that Kimi pipped Kova for 3rd. Excellent. But before anyone says that Lewis still bet him, who cares because Lewis did't win. 2nd,3rd or 4th no diference when your not in the championship hunt. As for the championship itself. Ferrari still leads McLaren in 3rd. Yes McLaren have caught up and will probably get 3rd spot, but it is 2 cars for McLaren versus 1 car for Ferrari (Kimi). Badoer is as good as not being there. If Massa were present, he would be beating Hamilton as he is better than Kimi who so far has done a good job. But in the end who cares. McLaren may finish 3rd overall and Ferrari 4th as a consequence of no Massa, but only 1st matters. 2nd, 3rd, 4th etyc no difference, just like Hamilton who go 2bd in the race in Europe. Everyone remembers winners, Once again good job Rubens, especially for preventing a McLaren win. (Race wins stats wise as all time greatest this is important, even though Ferrari is still well ahead of McLaren on race wins even if McLaren cqan win a couple of races this season.)

LoL you can't say for sure Massa would be beating Hamilton, i personaly doubt it since Kimi can't

And the Championship matters because of the increase money you get from it so when Mclaren take 3rd we'll do better from it.

Oh and how many wins's does Ferrari have this year?

oh yeh none

:P

It's nice to see AKR has changed her tune. :hehe: McLaren will most likely finish third in the constructors' title, regardless of who's driving for Ferrari. The fact is McLaren's pace of development is ferocious and the red cars are being left behind. :driving:

Indeed we do.. After the race Martin sat down for an interview so did Christian Horner and Vettel those were the ones who stuck out in my mind there may of been others. Plus we got the the usual paddock interviews the BBC coverage is extremely good in my opinion.
