What is all this rubbish about text size Big text or Little text. maybe people should make it more CoLourful

Where is the article on Rubens needing molly codling?

I know the solution; give Tex and RC western style pistols, meet at dawn... you know the rest... ;)

But I agree with RC; it's supposed to be motor racing not synchronised driving! My dislike of team orders has been well publicised on this here forum!!!

I don't see what RC is doing wrong Tex as usual is acting a jerk shes a Lewis hamilton fan everyone knows that she makes no bones about it i don't know why he gives her so much crap about it.

I just find it funny how the biggest critic of Lewis-bashing threads, goes and turns this one into one when it's got nothing to do with him.

We're talking about Barichello. And Schumacher. The issues with team orders at McLaren are being discussed elsewhere. :wavey::yawn:

See Rubens got what he wanted in the end. A banning of team orders. Look - while I support everything that my team did this year, a great team is generally one with a star driver, and then a good number two driver. The philosophy of a number 2 driver is pretty simple and is not too different to a number 1 driver. The philsophy is, you should win when your team mate is not capable of doing so.

The funny thing is after telling everyone off I'm now going to bring Mark Webber into it. Unfortunately what Mark Webber fails to realise is that after Britain this year when he said "Not bad for a number 2 driver, eh." He was actually stating a fact. He did exactly what a number 2 driver is expected to do - win, when your partner is out of the running - in this situation Vettel.

Generally in the past drivers would hold out on an opportunity to drive for a team if they knew they were going to be a number 2 driver, and they would wait for a number 1 opportunity to open up with a lower team. See many drivers kick up a stink about being a number 2 driver, which was just before my time as a fan in the sport, however I've read all about it. Drivers are number 2 drivers because, a - it's reflective of their skill level, b - it is actually an important position. Only teams in a championship position instill team orders...

This was in the bast great for the sport. I think in Austria it's more an attack on Schumacher. Yeah sure Schumacher could've won the championship without Barichello's help. But he repaid him in the end didn't he?

And really, why was such a stink being kicked up about it? Barichello wasn't in the championship hunt. Schumacher well and truly was. So the win for Barichello would have actually been insignificant.... Insignificant for Barichello and for Ferrari.

it would not of been insignificant for rubens if you got a points bonus!?!

Points towards what? A championship he's not going to win? Ferrari need to make sure of the important things first, which is the championship. Novelty wins on the side can be afforded once the job is done. And when the job was done, Michael repaid Rubens towards the end of a season.

I've never been a fan of team orders, let them race I say, but when your driver is involved who you support you find a way of making it seem ok in your mind that he got assistance from his team mate.

Germany this year was something that was bad for F1 but you need to figure out why it happened. Alonso had for nearly 10 laps a much faster car but alas could not overtake. He had a great run at Massa who took a well placed defensive line at one stage but Alonso lost too much downforce tailing Massa and just couldn't break late enough and had to back out of the move.

Team orders these days are still all over the place, it's the only thing you can do from the pitwall most times to get your faster driver ahead of the slower one because of the reliance on aerodynamic grip of our modern f1 cars.

Look at how Kubica held off Hamilton for 20 laps before he pitted last week and how Petrov did the same to Alonso for most of the race. Alonso was probably 1.5 - 2 seconds a lap faster than Petrov but he couldn't overtake.

If the rule changes on cars next year work and faster cars are able to get around slower ones then we will see less team orders. Because in a sense we can actually let the drivers race rather than follow the leader and hope that the driver ahead makes a mistake or that the team tell the driver ahead to move over.

What's a douch?

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... =douchebag

or

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douche
A douche (pronounced /ˈduːʃ/) is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself.
Douche usually refers to vaginal irrigation, the rinsing of the vagina, but it can also refer to the rinsing of any body cavity. A douche bag is a piece of equipment for douching—a bag for holding the fluid used in douching. To avoid transferring intestinal bacteria into the vagina, the same bag must not be used for an enema and a vaginal douche.
