I'm anxious over where all this leaves Kimi?

Here.

I think there, his yacht (he will be getting paid £17 million to sit about for a year) or Red Bull. it all depends on how much he wants to specifically stay in F1.

I can't see Mark Webber making way for Kimi. Nor can I see Red Bull footing Kimi's bill when they have no reason or obligation to do so.

Mercedes Grandprix doesn't have the same ring to it.

what!?

The words 'Mercedes Benz' and 'Grand Prix' go together better than any other save perhaps 'Ferrari' or 'Alfa Romeo' 'Maserati' and the rest. They are one of the greatest names to ever grace Grand Prix racing and this works effort is half a century overdue.

I just don't like the sound of it when saying it. Mercedes F1 (like Renault F1) would be better, not Mercedes Grandprix. I'm not disputing Mercedes as a works team though, its certainly good news.

so... the bomb dropped.
This is probably the most important news of the off-season. But I dont think this is bad for Mclaren, somehow i dont think they ever wanted to completely sell to Merc; therefore the only solution was a split... sometime. So the time has come. Its even more appealing with the cost reduction measures....

So Macca now own 100% of them selves, what does this mean for them>?

Not quite. Ron Dennis and I think some Saudis own part of McLaren.

Well I like their driver line up. I support Rosberg no matter who he drives for and I like Heidfeld too, they may be my joint no.2 team next year (along with Williams and after McLaren). Although, I'm just a teensy bit worried about the McLaren situation.

the McLaren situation.

what situation exactly? Having Button you mean?

It would seem so. Amanda doesn't like Jenson.

Edit: Its actually stupid to call it a situation. McLaren have not had a 1-2 finish since Alonso left the team. Button coming to McLaren is a good thing because they have had a very incapable driver alongside Lewis for two years now.

So there is no situation with McLaren getting the current WDC to join the team along side the 2008 WDC.
