Whats French got to do with anything?

Well the FIA is based in France, is a proud French body. What happened the last time they had a Frenchman in charge?

Balestre was a terrible dictator. I realise Mosley is no god, but we really don't want someone like Balestre. He was far worse!

I don't want Jean Todt or Ron Dennis or any former team driver/principle/engineer. That would be open to all sorts of issues and suggestions of favourtism. I believe that FOTA's idea of a truly independent president is the way to go...

I am always hearing commentators saying that a Formula 1 car weighs about the same a (old) mini... strap a F1 engine in the back of a mini, that'd be fun! :hehe:
...and use the Mini engine as a starter motor! :P

Lmao! There we have it! Mr.Bean for President
:hehe:

Excuse me but Mr.Bean is a genius I'll let you know!

He is a genius.

Your right he bloody is! He is the funniest man alive :hehe:

Hmm. I'm really not sure about. If you take away Balestre screwing Senna in 1989 and 1990, Balestre wasn't so bad. Mosley has been an unspeakably bad president. Also, I really don't think there's enough evidence to say the new president of the FIA should not be French.

MM has only got bad in the last few years.

No. He has always been on his personal crusade to stitch up McLaren. In 1998, the MP4/13's legal braking system was banned, mainly because of Ferrari's overtures; and in 1999, Mosley donated Ferrari the constructors' title, when their car's barge boards were clearly illegal.

Hey in this world money pays. But then you have to ask yourself has F1 ever been fair? Will the FOTA give us a clear cut sport? Could we really have a dominant sport? As look at it now? because of Max the teams are pulling together, and lets be honest! Ferrari are arrogant twats! So for them to pull together with Flavio & McLaren is outstanding!

Yeah, but Flavio isn't much better than Montezemolo. And, it's better that I don't start to write about McLaren two years ago, etc. This is the sport where you can be polite and successful. You have to use all your weapons to succeed. That's the way it is, and it's not going to change, that's for sure.

But at least, for once someone is thinking of the fans and are going to give us what we want! and are not looking at what the money they can make! I thin it's fantastic! Com'On were all dudes here, we can see how hard it is to accept someone else has one rather than you. It's hard, i think there pulling together nicely :D
