I've just read that article on a Williams forum. I'd forgotten that Hulkenberg binned both the FW30 and 31 in a shakedown test. I think Williams will be looking to use their flywheel KERS system as a way of attracting drivers. I think Barrichello would feel quite tempted if he does leave Brawn at the end of the year, he could still do a great job for Williams. Also Heidfeld might fancy a return to Williams as he got on very well with the engineers and was given a warm farewell when Dr Theissen dragged him across to BMW.

Barrichello-Heidfeld@Williams (or BMW Sauber, for that matter) would be a dream combination for me :)

Rubens/Heidfeld and Senna please! Heidfeld especially, i think he'd be the perfect driver for Williams at the moment.

:)

Although, I think he goes quite well with BMW Sauber. Reliable cars, reliable driver. :)

Well thats the thing. Last year Heidfeld's seat was in danger, but this year he's scored a podium and done brilliantly at Spain. BMW has the potential to be a consistent race winning car, so Heidfeld would be stupid to leave and BMW would be stupid to let him go right now. Williams isn't that attractive right now. I mean, Heidfeld moving is very unlikely.

Barrichello. My only question is, would Brawn let him go.

I guess that depends on who is available for next season and how Barrichello performs this season. If he wins the championship or finishes a close second, I don't see how Brawn could justify dropping him, especially as he seems willing to drive for next to nothing.

Yes, I agree that Heidfeld would be far better off staying at BMW Sauber as this year is likely to be a blip, but it would be interesting to see what he could do in Nakajima's place. The thing I'm slightly worried about are the rumours that Kubica has a get-out clause in his contract that would allow him to leave mid-season if the team haven't scored many points. I can't see it happening and I doubt there would be too many places for him to go, but it's still a minor worry... :/

Kubica. Not a chance he'll leave. Were will he go.

I think he'll be watching Piquet's seat at Renault and wait for it to come free. Also remember last season during the Alonso "silly season" Kubica said he would love to drive alonside Alonso.

I don't know why Kubica would want to leave BMW for Renault, it seems like a sideways move and in the long run, I think BMW will be the better bet. Kubica will start looking a whole lot slower if he gets in the same car as Alonso...

Him, they could do a straight swap between Piquet and Kubica then. Hmm

It seems Piquet's father has already begun negations.

But seriously, who would BMW hire then? Would they promote Klien.

They may. They might also consider Rosberg.

I'd like to see Rosberg at BMW. If they lost Kubica and didn't get someone like Rosberg, they'd be in a bit of trouble I think.

Nico would revert to "this track should suit our car" as opposed to Kubica's grumblings over the radio during practice sessions.

Wouldn't want Nick at Williams, Id never see him going there either

He was there only a couple of seasons ago...! :P
