He doesn't say "Morally, i deserve the title if i finish within 6 points of Massa" does he? Sure, he was the moral victor in Belgium but that doesn't automatically mean he deserves to be champion. He simply says "Morally, I think I deserve the title". It's not difficult to see is it.

If he finishes within 6 points of Massa then he is the moral champion, but if that doesn't happen then he won't be the moral champion. Can you understand that premise?
