I think that Max Mosely and other FIA officials don't like McLaren. That therefore is theoretically a bias against McLaren. But that doesn't mean that this bias is expressed in decisions.

Though, having said that, I think the current decision stinks. I still think that the old adage "never attribute to malice that which can equally be explained by stupidity" applies. But if it is due to a conspiracy, I see it as anti-McLaren rather than pro Ferrari.

Certainly I think that we need racers, not politicians and lawyers, in charge of the FIA. MM may have raced and worked in teams once, but it's so long ago that it's irrelevant. Someone with much more recent experience as well as a lifelong dedication to racing is what is needed. Jean Todt being the prime candidate. No matter how much the McLaren lambs protest.

Do you live in a dark room and do a lot of drugs, and only come out for two hours on Sunday.

To be honest, I wouldn't give a toss if Todt had a formula to convert lead into gold, he's a Ferrari man, so isn't right for the job.

I move that Ron Dennis should be President of the FIA.

In other words, you have no problem with someone with strong team ties becoming head of the FIA, you just want it to be "your" man.

Ron Dennis could never become head of the FIA. For one thing, nobody would be able to understand a word of anything he said.

Well, don't you think Ron Dennis would make a good President? After all, he's got the credentials.

If he had any other background, then yes. But he's still got a long-term affiliation with McLaren, therefore, no.

someone with the netrality of pat symonds would be good, i dont think many team bosses would be! esp not jt!

i voted for bias in favour of ferrari, depending on what team is challenging them

liked rk interview about it on itv lol

There's utterly no comparison between Todt and Prost, Todt is a whole football team's worth of head and shoulders above Prost.

So we've got the former Ferrari F1 boss vs. a 4 time world champion... What is wrong with that matchup?

Being a world champion is not a license to run the FIA. All I want is a man or woman who brings consistency to the decision process. If they screw Mclaren over some rule invented the day of the race then I want Ferrari screwed the same way when they commit an infringement.

Here's something interesting that seems to have gone un-noticed...

"The galling thing from my point of view is that a much more clear-cut case of ‘unfair advantage’ went unpunished, when Adrian Sutil straight-lined the top of Eau Rouge on the first lap and passed me on the run to Les Combes."

So its not if you miss the chicane, its if yo mis the chicane and the FIA dont lke you!.

I think in this weather at Monza there will be a whole bunch going over chicanes to avoid collisions or locking up, will they all get a penalty?? Or just a select few whose cars might be silver but definately not red.

You know what, im pretty sure McLaren has had the most penalties for any team this year, i dont think their drivers are doing anything too differently to the rest of the field, but i do think they are being watched differently to the rest of the field

On the other hand, one can't NOT see LH crashing into KR in the pitlane and thus pick up a penalty
