Not a bad article but falls somwhat short in its analysis. Both guys seriously talented and ferociously determined also both guys convinced of their own talent. I think the article more or less agreed on that. The article said Senna was very independant in how he went about securing his F1 career(as opposed to Lewis who had McLaren backing from the age of 14). yes factually correct. However, iIt is easy to branch out independently when your family are extremely rich for many reasons.
You have a top class education behind you.
You are brought up to be comfortable with the rich and successful.
You have a world of sponsorship at your fingertips.
You know powerful people.
You can conduct yourself easily in any company.
You can afford to fail (monetarily if not emotionally)
You have a safety net,
Lewis had none of the above. He had to make his way differently. His father didnt even have a house, he lived in a council flat. He had no fortune to fall back on, he had to make it to achieve the fortune. Lewis had far more on the line. Pretty much all he had was his talent and his belief in it. Don't knock him for doing what he had to do. Senna did what he had to do, it was different, doesnt make either way right or wrong, just different.
