Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point.
Good job Mikep99. I've never looked at the WCC in this way.

Discuss the sport you love with other motorsport fans
126 more grand Prix than McLaren and 254 more than Williams!
Yes that’s right but the above data speaks for itself.
The periods each team was competing against each other, Ferrari is out in front.
Your reasoning is that if the new Force India team wins the WCC next year they will be the most successful team every because Ferrari had 758 Grand Prix to Force India's 17 Grand Prix's.
Yeh that sounds like bud logic
Bud... bad news...
I've just worked out points per race entry and those bloody red cars are on top again!!
2.73 - Ferrari
2.67 - McLaren
2.33 - Williams
2.23 - Renault
A friend of mine always uses the quote "There are lies, damn lies, and statistics". You can always create a reason to back up the most random of stats. Being able to get Minardi as the most succesful team might be a struggle though.

Yes as i knew it would but its alot closer to what the wizard of OZ would like us to believe!!!
wonder if the 209 points McLaren won this year were taken into account for that
So why does Ron care more about the WCC than the WDC?

I'll second that.
Looking at certain time periods is a complete sham, and it's clutching at straws. Which is all McLaren fans have to clutch to these days.
Ferrari have been able to keep it alive in F1 longer then anyone else, which is a hard thing to do. Teams come and go but Ferrari have stood the test of time.
These McLaren fools are turning me into a Ferrari supporter, I'm finding myself constantly jumping to Ferrari's defences because I simply can't let logic so flawed be posted without a response.
