I mostly avoid Indian food. As with Mexican and Chinese I consider it part of the poor men's cuisine and it doesn't appeal to me.

Poor men's cuisine? So you dine in rich marble halls with servants bringing you your 10 course luxury meal from the downstairs kitchens where the cooks slave away and toil under the pressure of your high and mighty ruling-class demands? Or... does the food not actually get cooked? Do you prefer the meat raw, fresh from the tortured souls in our haunting dungeon?

As for Indian food... nothing too hot for me... the milder stuff is alright... otherwise the heat is just, well, unnecessary! :hehe:

And i thought Sausage and sauerkraut was poor people's food :)

DD you've obviously not had them cooked properly for you!

French, Chinese and Turkish. Historically the three great cuisines of the world. Yum yum!
Food from Southern India from the Kerala region is really good.

The fresh seafood in Kerala is fantastic

I like spicey food, From Thai to Indian. I survived Thai food when I was holidaying there I can't see Indian being much worse.

On Spicey food anyone had Etheopian? It's very similar to Indian but not served with rice.

I basically eat ANYTHING!!! I turn nothing down and I have no allergies. I am always up for trying something new, so when it comes to eating, I'm up for absolutely anything. I do have my favourites though!

Best meal of all time? THE ROAST DINNER!!! Without a doubt!

(As andrew said, pie, chips and gravy is well up there too!)

I don't understand how certain foodstuffs can be beneath someone.

how many rats have you eaten?

Given that I lived on take-aways for a while, possibly quite a few. :hehe:

I'd happily try rat or dog or anything.

Give me pie and chips with gravy any day over your posh nosh.

I really don't know if DD would be too into pie or not.
