That was unnecessary, that I was talking fuel-corrected, which is the correct way to judge the qualifying, was implied.

What were trying to say is that the way the BBC are doing the fuel correction is flawed. because they take the fuel load from when the driver finishes rather than when he actually did the lap...

To slightly change the subject, the way the BBC does it judges the qualifying session overall. Doing those extra laps did hurt Lewis, at least for the race.

Guys the car weights are what they start qualifying and the race with! Doing extra laps won't change the fuel loads for the race start!

That's not the case, fuel is put in the cars before Q3, the weights are measured at the end of qualifying and the cars are left unchanged in parc ferme after that - no fuel is added after or during qualifying 3 until the first pit stop.

No, but both BMW drivers have pretty much resigned themselves to having a poor season. So, rather than maximising their chances in the Grands Prix, they are are spending their time wallowing in self pity and complaining to the media, especially Kubica.

If Jenson can up his lead more than 5 points from this week, I think the WDC is his for the taking. That Mercedes engine just don't want to blow up...

I thought Sebi had a good showing in Valencia in 2008, but in 2009 his driving input on the steering wheel says other wise...on the on-board shots, it looks like he is having to adjust quite a bit...
