well im amazed that williams want to help a bunch amatuers like HRT, and dont forget, that mclaren and mercedes help out force india with gearboxes and engines...

I think WIlliams is hardly in any position to turn down money.

well that cant be getting loads otherwise they would have kept hulkenburg

Hence why they're in no position to turn any down.

I don't think that Williams dropped Hulkenburg because of the cost; Hulk would have preferred to stay with Williams on the same contract as 2010 rather than being a test driver or even lower ranked team driver, I would say that Williams are the best of the independents; with the exception of Red Bull of course!

It's funny that HRT is getting so much flak when they actually beat the 'promising' Virgin racing in 2010, with all their CFD based platform, yadayadaya...

I was just reading the Redbull RRA thing, I know HRT are unlikely to excede the RRA in any way, but what else do they now have no restrictions on? can they now do in season testing?

doubt it with the in season testing ban (for now anwway), but it certainly would help

HRT had quite a decent chassis delivered, the real problem is lack of funds.

a decent chassis?!, are you serious!, it was slower than some gp2 cars :rofl::rofl:

They had no updates, why they didn't read their contract I have no idea but, still, it was fairly reliable and solid, they have a base to work from if someone decides to buy out the team (hopefully).
