I mean.. he came back and he was not winning, he was not right on the pace and he was out-performed by his team-mate.
You would think it would be worse if the car would be slower than now, but it's actually the comparison to the team-mate's pace to (usually - and roughly) define a driver's season.
But is it worth it?
Schumacher will be 42 next season, competing against lots of young and very talented guys. What can he offer now that the other guys can't? It's a very risky gamble to focus on Schumacher, with the added bonus of ruining a promising career. His time is over, he never should have come back to take the place of drivers that are on their time to shine. When you have Heidfeld out of the grid (thankfully that one was fixed by now), Glock in a Virgin and Sutil still stuck in the Force India, it speaks by itself.
It can only get better for Schumi after this season, no?
