it didn't stop em at the last track which was supposedly all about having an f-duct!

track before was an fduct track too

Er... Turkey? That was all about high speed corner grip, which is why the Red Bulls were quickest!

Sepang, Canada, China... F-duct tracks. Monza maybe not, cause its easier to just drop downforce altogether... the new silverstone maybe yes.

long straights there too.

but they (Mclaren) lost all the advantage and then some... on T8. Which kinda makes it a not so Fduct track.

The thing is that if it's a combination of sweeping corners and long straights, the Red Bull exhaust system will easily match the McLaren F-duct system as the McLaren will be faster down the straights and Red Bull will make up that time in the corners and if Ferrari get it right they could be in the battle with McLaren/Red Bull!

One long straight. :hehe: Anyway, even assuming that their system doesn't work, it still doesn't explain how Ferrari were suddenly quick again at Montreal, where the duct was supposedly important - in fact it just makes it even more confusing...! :P

no they were just as fast in the race pace.

Yup, i've said all season long that the McLaren is the best all-round car in race trim, even at the start of the season i don't think it was all that far off Red Bull in terms of race pace.

For the whole of the lap yes. Because Mclaren was faster in the straight, but in the T8 sector Red Bull were faster (it all more or less evened out). And also, we dont know how fast Vettel would have been able to go near the end.

Why is Ms pussycat there? I thought they broke up? Did I miss their reconciliation? And who was that kid?

More important: why do they show her so much?? is she that popular? i've never heard a single pussycat song... is it some phenomenom like Spice girls??

The kid is their son. They're going to name name him Prince Lewis the 2nd (sorry MJ for making fun of you)

I think it's pretty obvious why they put her mug on the screen so much.
Yes they are massively huge but like you I have not heard any of their songs. They don't play that on the stations I listen to.
I am surprised. I did not know Lewis was a father. I did not know they had a kid together. I don't remember her being pregnant. Or were you joking?

And who was that kid?

I was wondering the same thing, possibly a subliminal message for Lewis from her??

I was thinking that too. Her biological time clock is ticking!!

They've been reconciled a while now.

They've gotta stop showing her, its annoying and not what I want to watch, if you have to show some random engineer or something.

I'd be interested in this race, although I can't see safety cars happening. Want to see how Ferrari's updates work out.

I predict boring. hope Im wrong.

I don't think it's her "mug" they're focused on. I swear I remember them showing her in the wrap up credits, (I think after Turkey) jumping up and down in slow motion!

What annoyed me the most about her this weekend was that the director chose to show her instead of the Liuzzi/Schumi scrap for the final points, F1 is supposed to be about cars RACING, not WAGs.
#203426
Kinda reminds me of the races when they would constantly show Anthonys reactions in the garage as if his opinion mattered  .

John Button was on quite a lot last year. You have to get used to the guy doing fantastic things being put under the microscope. We live in the modern world.
