Well, Mercedes apparently disagree with your opinion!

Oh no, woe is me. A faceless corporation disagrees with me...

Wait, I'm a left-winger, I'm used to that :hehe:

You guys are missing the point! That's exactly it: he doesn't have to prove anything anymore, so he's in it for the fun he was missing in the past 3 years. Any top placing would be just icing on the cake for him, so chill out and enjoy the ride

I don't enjoy watching legends struggle and I don't think Michael's idea of fun is being out qualified and out raced by his team mate.

Is he struggling? Ridiculous! He's doing quite okay for coming back after 3 years when the cars have changed as much as they have. Yes, he's one of the most competitive athletes in the world and would like to win, but that doesn't mean he's not enjoying himself when he doesn't!

Its so early to be judging anyone. 3 races down and he hasnt qualified lower than 8th place. i would say thats pretty decent and its also better than any ferrari or mclaren driver. 1 6th place finish, 1 10th place finish due to someone else running into him and a DNF due to no fault of his own. he has a 3 year contract for a reason. only idiots thought he would win races right away and mercedes knows they have work to do in the car.

IMO, Shumacher is going through what a lot of other athletes who made a comeback went through....rust...
He was successful because he's great driver and he was w/ ferrari...that combination resulted into IMO the most impressive run in F1 history...
He's adjusting w/ his new team, the new rules, and the new car...I think it's just right that we wait before making any judgments regarding his performance...

Finishing in the points in the first two races says alot aswell as qualifying in the the top ten  . If his wheel man had done the job he is paid for quite handsomely and had practiced numerous times I must say Schummi would have scored more points, I'm happy overall with his results.

I am more disappointed that the "brawn" car doesnt have the wow factor this season like last years car. Ross should realise that if the guy has a better car he will no doubt deliver better results the moment he feels its all coming back to him. I dont find it odd that his teammate is performing better than him at the moment. its to be expected but I'm certain we will see the old shummie back fairly soon.

Agreed but F1 is a very finicky game and I honestly did not expect the team to have the results they did last year. Now that the team is a true manufacturer's team I expect/hope to see vast improvements coming soon.

I think the color has nothing to do with it. Last race there was a radio transmission to Alonso from the engineers keeping him abreast of how much time Hamilton was making up on him. Around the 3rd "update" Alonso replied... I DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT HAMILTON!

McLaren's cars are not red.

What a delightfully selective statistic.

No wonder when people gossip the story that comes out on the other side is always not the same going in. Alonso simply said. " I dont want to know". thats it.
so maybe your gossiping skills need honing?

Since I can't be 100% sure I will give you the benefit of the doubt. I heard it and I think he clearly said "I don't want to know about Hamilton" But you know, we get the feed here in the US so it could have been altered by the media. Even if he did only say "I don't want to know" he CLEARLY was talking about Hamilton. How is this gossip in any way?

McLaren's cars are not RED. How is this gossip in any way?

Perhaps you're getting defensive about Red having to comment on questions of reliability problems of their engines?
