Do you think that someone like Flavio, knew how important a look at the difference between push or pull rod suspension? or if an idea was worth spending money on or not? that is what I meant.

People like Brawn, Williams, Mclaren, and to an extent Ferrari are Engineer based. People like Toyota which are nothing more than 200mph adverts are run as an extension to the company and with all the baggage that comes with it? It would take Toyota about 15 meetings to decide to look into suspension lay outs they would then have another 15 meeting to decide how much money to spend on it.

I think Red bull will end up in the same position next year as BMW are this year, wondering where the pace has gone. They've been in with a great chance this year and i'm sure they've exceeded their original buget for the year to stay in the race for the drivers championship, and this will have negative effects on the develpement of next years car.

I think Toyota will get it together for next year and pick up the points mclaren and ferrari drop as they fight it out at the front, brawn will hover around the same area they are now and will be in the points for most races, but nothing brilliant.

I am not so sure on Redbull, next year they will be able to focus on themselves and not get side tracked by Torro Rosso.

I can not see a Newey car ever being that bad once they work the reliability out on them. it is all down to what engine they have next year.

A lot of people think it will return to Ferrari vs McLaren next year. I don't quite think so, I think there will at least be a few teams there abouts at the top. McLaren is an unknown because we know that they make dud cars every now and again and you never know they may do so yet again next year, Ferrari will be there abouts thanks to their strong driver line-up of Alonso and Felipe-baby.

I'd keep my eye on Red Bull, you have to remember their rise to the top this year has been mainly thanks to the Newey factor - although part of that factor has been their downfall *cough* reliability. Honda money or not I would not discount Brawn either, they will be able to design their car around the Mercedes engine from the start. Williams will finally have two real drivers at the wheel, one of them could be this year's Champion, and the other a GP2 Champion who sealed the title earlier than Lewis did.

Don't discount Renault either, next year will be almost like a new dawn and they will be keen to rid the image that Flabio has given them. I don't think Toyota will fare well, they will take heavy hits from the budget cap and could end up fielding an embarrasing driver line-up *cough* Nakajima *cough* Kovalainen.

Force India would be worth sticking some money on, they have been the biggest improvers this year, particularly as they didn't have long to put their car together. Toro Rosso will go nowhere with their rubbish management, they will be a prime target for the new teams to beat.

Again I'd agree, don't count out Renault.

Or anyone really.

basically dont discount anyone but McLaren will build a dud :P

thats ok their last dud was when Newey was trying to be too creative. The pace they turned the 24 around this year should worry anyone! They are pretty excited with the early form of the 25 i am pretty sure it wont be a dud!

Brawn will be travelling exactly the same as they were this year. All of the other teams, though, will be better than them! :P

Seriously I think that would be the case. But only Ferrari and McLaren will significantly improve. There is a cloud hanging over Red Bull for the time being. I don't think they will get a Mercedes engine. Ferrari Engines may become available again, but i just hope that someone at Red Bull would make up their bloody mind and stick with an engine! They should stick with Renault, and develop a car to help them maintain these engines.

I think you will see

1. Ferrari
2. McLaren
3. Brawn
4. Williams
5. Red Bull

You really don't Like Mclaren do you? lol.

Mclaren have improved the most this year Lewis has outscroed Button in the 2nd half of the season.

I have no doubts they'll build on that and will be the team to beat next year.

I think he has outscored everyone  .

As I see the opinions are very very different. I guess there's no other way than waiting for a new season.

lol although Lewis and Macca have outscored everyone in the final part of the season - remember Renault and Alonso did the same last year.
Yes the rule changes aren't as widespread, but I wouldn't come out and say McLaren are the favourites.

Nobody is to be honest.
