Best advice i can give.
I did Mcr to London last week and i took the Toll lovely and clear road but traffic on the radio said M6 (non toll) was rammed also road works with 50 speed limit enforced.
Roads going to glasgow are usualy pretty clear and once your near scotland really nice to drive on.
But the Scottish Police are hard on speeders so watch it.
but your best bet is M1, M6, M74Just stay the hell off the M25. Average speed cameras, massive sections of 30mph limits, standstill traffic...
Those average speed cameras are a bitch one on every other pylon
