Go look up Ferrari's influence in the banning of the Michelin tyre in 03 as a good place to start Bill.

Protesting an illegal component != using a veto to manipulate regulations to a team's benefit.

Is someone a programmer? :hehe:

Only in my bedroom. Although if I keep being tossed around by the school/LEA, I might go and study it at university. :)

if(Denthúl.enjoysProgramming) { Denthúl.studyProgramming(); }

Ok i'll stop before before people get worried! :rofl:

Let's not reveal our geekness. :D

All I know is I think MS was a great driver regardless of all the underlying political mumbo jumbo, shaking extended hand of friendship :wink: .

Let's be clear, anybody that makes it to F1 is a fabulous driver.

*shakes hand*

get the beers in then

A part of being a fabulous driver is getting yourself into F1 (says Alain Prost) & if that means getting your dad to cough up the readies so be it.

Bear in mind it's not every spoilt brat with a hyper-rich daddy that makes it.

A lot of luck and sacrifices are required too. Nigel Mansell had to sell his house just to fund his racing back in the lower categories, and then he became the first ever "paid" F3 driver. And then he had THAT crash with De Crasheris.

Hey!

I am MS fan and I believe in one thing - if you are really fast like he was, then the rules don't make a change. RB was all years complaining (like a child) about Ferrari and MS, but he wasn't consistent then and once again this year with BGP, he can't drive consistently, Button is simply faster all the time. Even Eddie Irvine once said, that MS is working like a hell another to archive the results, so it is not just about rules and contracts.

I also believe that every single driver in F1 is very good. It is fantastic achievement to be there. However, the difference is between good and exceptional. Some of them are exceptional.

Cross my fingers for Felipe on today's qualifying.

Regards,
Ivo
