By the Italian and Spanish press, Nelson Piquet has been quoted as expressing frustration about his role alongside Fernando Alonso at Renault.

"I would like a situation in which the team looks towards me," he admitted.

He's mental. If he wants a team that "looks towards him", he shouldn't have signed on as a double world champion's teammate.

It seems to me that Piquet is getting his excuses in. When he signed up at Renault, he knew Fraudster Flavio would be there and that his surrogate son, Alonso, would be looking for special privileges. In other words, he was not going to be allowed to take Alonso on in a fair fight. However, that does not excuse his completely inept performances. When Irvine and Barrichello were the work-experience boys at Ferrari, you didn't see Schumacher putting the car on pole and them qualifying 15th or something. Get a life, Piquet. You're just a loser.

Bourdais has more talent in his glasses than Piquet has. When he managed to pull himself together last year he put in some performances in which he was more than a match for Vettel.

So you telling me that Renault tells Piquet to slow down because he is faster than Alonso are you also saying that Piquet was told to slow down at Malaysia because he was faster than Alonso? The Renault is crap it is nearly as bad as the McLaren! I reckon Sebastian Bourdais is not bad at all and he did well in Monza if he hadn't been unlucky then he would of definitely got second and might of won IMO. The only claims Piquet has is coming second to Lewis in GP2 and fluking a second place at Germany while letting Lewis strolled by to win the race.

I was really surprised that Piquet didn't try and fight for an even flukier win at Hockenheim, when Lewis was bearing down on him I was expecting Piquet to play dirty and try blocking, chopping Lewis into corners etc. Something his father would have done, and then just like his father he could have fallen for a dummy move that Lewis could have set up. But what did he do? He just let him through rather tamely.
