Afraid to say I didn't get any pics.. I came up on my dads bike, so couldn't really carry much!

I was at Duffus Dip for a while, then went in the middle of the circuit for the rest.

Met up with a few karting mates so messed about for a while in the paddock. My Mate was able to get into pitlane etc cause she had all access pass since her sister and dad were out in the single seater.. Lucky sod! lol..

Passed Chilton, Cole and Plato.. didn't get anything signed though :(

And the ice cream was amazing :P

and at the Lunch interval, the guy on the tannoy sounded scarily like Frankie Boyle!!

She's 18 ;) :L

I would like to hope so..

Nelson Piquet Junior was racing at Knockhill only about 3 or 4 years ago.. so I have hope :D

Even if not I plan on doing one of those experience days to see if I am any good in Single Seaters.. got to wait until November though :(

Racing was very good, maybe say that BTCC race 2 was a little bit dull, but Race 3 made up for it :D

What did you think of the Seat and Porsche races??

Legends look great to do aswell, another possibility for me.. They are pretty cheap to run I think..

If I was rich I would do ginetta though!

Aye well good luck man, We need another Scot in F1 seeing DC is hanging up his helmet :P You never know.
The legends are mega, heck if I scraped money together, id love to have a go in one of them.
Race 2 was kinda boring for the BTCC, as you said tho the safety car spiced up the first and third.
Porsches were great some right banging down at the hairpin.
Seats were alright, the Ginettas prob the best of the support race, gd that Adam was so strong though, When will he get his break into the BTCC?

Daniel Lloyd did pretty well, and he got that drive Via British Karting Success :P

ginetta is for 14 to 17 year olds, that is soo cool.. I'd love to be able to do that.. car is 15K and series is about the same.. so thats 30K.. and u need to add fuel, damage transport...

But I'm hoping to test a legend when I'm old enough.. Very close fair racing..

Looks like you had an awesome day with some great pics
I managed to catch most of the Ginetta and BTCC coverage on ITV - the Ginetta races were brilliant. I also love the fact that there was one marshal who obviously loved his cones - I think every race, he put a cone out on one particular corner (no idea which one  ) and the cars kept knocking it off because they were taking so much kerb, and he was doggedly putting it back as often as he could. :hehe:

What great races today to end this season's racing :D So ironic that Giovanardi has picked up points every race except for today, and that's the race he wins the championship :hehe:

The last race was awesome...loved the fact that Giovanardi and Plato were niggling at each other most of the time and thought it was really amusing when loads of them slid off the track because of the oil :hehe:. John George's accident though

Thanks Selcouth_Feline, I was just going to post about this. What a great set of races this weekend, infact the entire Toca tour package was very enjoyable. Especially with Tim Harvey winning the Porsche championship

It is crazy to think that if Plato had been able to finish 4th in race one, and then not had the problems with his steering he could have won the title. Giovanardi had a crazy weekend, but he deserved it overall.
Matt Jackson has really returned to form, if rumours of a BMW works team transpire i'd love to see him up there fighting for the title.

It was really worrying to see that crash from John George, you would have thought that after Onslow-Cole's crash right at the start of the year, that they would maybe have tried to do something down there. Nevermind he was alright in the end. :D

So on to 2009, hopefully we get those factory backed teams of Honda, BMW and Ford... and with someone surely privately running those Seats we could be in for a heck of a season - as long as Plato still has a drive :hehe:

Yup, awesome, particularly after his Silverstone (?) drive when he started 15th and ended up winning in the rain :D Was such a good day of racing yesterday!

I particularly liked the little insight the commentators gave us into the World of Vauxhall when they said that Giovanardi and Matt Neal had been to Australia and Giovanardi had gotten a business class seat whereas Neal had to travel cattle class :hehe: (sorry, I can't stand Matt Neal!)

Don't worry he's not one of my favourites anyways. :D
Giovanardi is treated with class. He deserves it as well. Matt Neal couldn't touch him in equal machinery. Similar to Turner and Plato in the Seats. At the moment Plato, Gio and probably Turkington/Jackson are at the top of the pile. Watch out for Andrew Jordan and Onslow-Cole in years to come though.

Also I love Tim Harvey, what a legend, even after Soper screwed Clelland that time :banghead:

I ended up standing next to him in the Urinals at Knockhill this year, random to talk to him there

Does that include a return for Joachim "Smokin' Jo" Winkelhock? :D
