"people's" is plural and so the apostrophe should be thus; "peoples'"
As a fellow whose first, second and third languages are not English, I still beg to differ here: your suggestion applies only if you were talking, e.g., about more than one body of enfranchised citizens of states/countries - there are some other cases, but none applies here.

Nicely observed point Dali and well spotted!

Ferrari, once again, tried to side-step the rules and were caught. However, the deed went unpunished. If McLaren did that year, or Renault in 2005 and 2006, there would have been punishments. It's one rule for Ferrari and another rule for the rest.
There allways has been and as long as uncle max is in control allways will be one rule for ferrari another for everyone else

You are boring, boring, boring...you always say the same things, funny things, but always the same. We use to say in italian that this is "mental masturbation" when you keep on thinking the same things, and killing yourself by making always the same questions and the same sentences...

A note to some of you most zealous McLaren/LH defenders aka Ferrari bashers (not sure where the splinter group of ardent FA supporters falls here, but they are included anyway): many of your posts are not only so outlandish and one-dimensional it's almost comical (though I've stopped laughing since it's become very tiresome), but they are also extremely repetitive. On and on and on the to be expected drivel and venom are oozing out of your statements. Just as an example, McLarenFan's opinion from another thread (Lewis should thank Ferrari):
"That's just it. Ferrari are OVERRATED. Let's face it, apart from being the oldest team in Formula One, what have they done? Teams such as Lotus have given far more to the sport than Ferrari ever have or ever will."
What is the point of such a moronic post? It just shows a lot of anger and suppressed envy - it's almost like the extreme and violent homophobia demonstrated by certain people to in fact cover up their own tendency to homosexuality - Ferrari bashers are Ferrari fans in the closet (and they don't know it or won't admit it to themselves).:wink:

I am not a Ferrari basher, however, I am a basher of cheating and a supporter of fair play. The reason some so-called anti-Ferrari posts are repeated is because Ferrari fans won't listen to the truth and have no conscience.

As far as I can see it was a badly calculated move by Todt to put one over on the rest of the field. They were betting that conditions would rapidly improve. As it happens, they didn't, so Ferrari would have to have brought in their drivers for a tyre change anyway, ergo they were penalised by their own stupidity, not by the stewards or the FIA. Ferrari cynically sent their drivers out on inappropriate tyres, not only endangering their drivers but also every other driver on the track, a point conveniently overlooked by the FIA and all the Ferrari afficionados on this forum, who delight in getting their knickers in a twist about Hamilton "brake-dancing", whatever that's supposed to signify.

This is BS and you know it! Cynically sent their drivers out on inappropriate tires - geez, how polemic can you get? Last time I checked it's the driver who has the last word - if he doesn't think it's safe or he can handle it safely, he opts for the safer solution - even at the Evil Empire Ferrari.

At any rate, I'd appreciate it if you guys and gals could stop frothing at your mouth and refrain from stereotypically repeating unfounded accusations and ridiculous statements nobody other than your own ilk is interested in reading - this in favor of a more substantive discussion of the sport we all (I hope) love. 8)

Oh, the "homophobia card" is finally pulled out of the hat Dali. I've been waiting for that cheap trick. Please substantiate your assertion. Where exactly was it, the alleged homophobia? I don't suppose it could possibly be an "unfounded accusation and ridiculous statement". And if we are all repressed homosexuals, perhaps you are a repressed heterosexual... what utter gobbledegook psychobabble drivel! Talking about "repressed anger", I think you took the biscuit in those stakes with the above diatribe.

Texas, would you mind conforming your sig dimensions to the forum limits?

Done.

Thanks I didn't mean to look like an a$$ asking, but the height of your pic is still 40 pixels over the limit, unless the rules allow it when the width is accordingly reduced, in which case disregard.

Had you read my post more carefully, you would have noticed that I used the homophobia example as a simile (you know what that is, don't you?). I even prefaced it with a qualifier ('almost').
I didn't use the word repressed at all in my post - that's an invention on your part - and I didn't put any qualifier with the term 'anger' besides a quantitative one ('a lot of').
If this your reply is an example of how meticulous you are in gathering, processing and digesting information, then I'm not the least surprised about the rather extreme fluctuation in the quality of your posts - sometimes brilliant and sharp to the point, sometimes just utter BS garnished with disdain.

Further Artie, it's very telling how you picked up on my note rather than my reply to your non-sensical and mean-spirited statement.

Thank you for pointing this out my friend I had downsized the pic and thought I was within the spec's and had not recieved my reply from the admin with the correct dimension's.

darwin_dali and everyone else,
Let's get back to the topic of this thread and stop worrying so much about one's grammar and punctuation error's. This has become very tiring and has also become a battle of ego's.

We Canadians put the letter U in everything, like labout, neighbour, favour, harbour etc. Americans live in crippling fear of the letter U.

“Without this instruction from the FIA, other teams would also have started on intermediate tyres.â€

SOOOOO Artie, where's your post about the cynicism in how McLaren left LH out on track on totally worn and damaged tires, eh? "...not only endangering their driver[s] but also every other driver on the track..."

Bridgestone are mightily pissed at McLaren and rightly so:
ttp://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/motorsport ... -19918599/

With this incident I would put much more blame on the team than in Ferrari's case (if any) because we're talking about a rookie here who may lack the experience to say 'no' to the team's decision.
