Anyone seen the stewards reports on the two investigated incidents?

Having viewed the video evidence in relation to the action of the driver of Car 1 off the start, and having
noted that Car 1 Sebastian Vettel and Car 3 Lewis Hamilton both followed similar lines off the start the
Stewards decide to take no further action.

comparing the line that Lewis Hamilton took on the previous lap, and having noted that Car 6 Felipe
Massa was attempting to overtake on the left into a right hand corner the Stewards decide to take no

They should have Alan Jones on at every race. What a refreshing change!!

Yep. I can't fault Alan Jones' decisions today.

Just moving away from the action at the front, I thought it worth pointing out that Team Lotus did a sterling job today. The safety car helped them of course, but nevertheless, they both finished on the lead lap, while both Virgins and HRTs had been lapped...twice... Heikki Kovalainen finished only 13 seconds behind the Williams of Rubens Barrichello, and just 87.8 seconds off winner Jenson Button.

Good stuff there.

Once again, extremely high rate of mechanical reliability. The only retirement was that of Sebastian Buemi, who had a wheel issue.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the driver representative just one of many stewards in each race? I'm sure they only mention the driver stewards by name on broadcast because people will recognize the names. Point being, I think you guys may be attributing the stewards' decisions in races too much to the driver representative.

Anyway, good race, but I was bummed for Kamui and Di Resta finishing out of points.

The wording sounds like Alan Jones to me. He used to commentate F1 down here when it was on channel 9. He is critical of over policing.

But Jenson had a great race, his really come to terms with the car and his driving.

Great races this season. Red bull was just too good and Vettel simply perfect...

hopefully this race (and qualifying) at least bode well for a competitive final 4 races in 2011 and beginning of 2012.

What I meant was McLaren were clearly on par (or better than) Red Bull pace all wekend, and even in qualifying where they haven't been all year.

Yes. The cars are closer thats true. Too little too late though. I dont feel any excitement about the coming races. I wont go out of my way to watch them.

I already made plans for next weekend, without knowing when the race timings are on. If I'm home, I watch.
