I wonder what people think would be "off limits" or going "too far" for Webber to do in reaction to all this? For example if he was going to attempt a pass on Seb, if he saw the minutest of high risk openings, would be be justified in going all out for it?

I hope he goes for the jugular. He's in his twilight years and has been screwed over one to many times. Go for it, put him in the wall! Well maybe that's a bit extreme, withhold favours, win the championship all by yourself Seb! ' two wrongs don't make a right' , well that's how the saying goes, but boy does it feel good equalising that wrong!!

No more or less than the last three times he didn't win team-mate of the year award.

Yeah and Seb is the best most fairest team mate of all time, with no need of his team to favour him over his team mate...

You Vettel fans tend to forget Webber is fighting an uphill battle al the time, Seb has it easy with everything going his way and cries the most when he doesn't get his way. Remember Monaco qualifying post race press conference in 2010? He almost looked like he was about to cry because he was beaten!
Can't remember Senna tearing up wanting his mummy when Prost beat him.

You're right, Senna wouldn't whine he would just take Prost out in the first turn to get title. Everyone acts like what SV did was the first time its happened. Alonso and crash gate, senna taking prost out.......

Webber fights an uphill battle because he isn't as talented a driver, not the number #1 driver and hasn't accepted either.

I certainly wouldn't blame him now going for anything. I believe Mark and Nando are good friends so perhaps he might like to help his friend out if the opportunity arose :)

Don't you worry I don't think Mark will hesitate in taking the wee whiner out next time he tries anything!

Wow RedBull.......

Red Bull punish Vettel by demoting him to Toro Rosso for Chinese GP

The aftermath of the Multi 21 team orders saga continues to rage, and today it has emerged that Red Bull have mandated that their errant world champion Sebastian Vettel will be ‘punished’ for his disobedience in Malaysia and demoted to the Toro Rosso team for the Chinese Grand Prix.

Wow! And I'd heard on the grapevine....that Webber has stormed out after a blazing row because they wouldn't punish Vettel!! I'd heard they tried to get Hamilton out of his Mercedes contract to take his place but he no longer wants to go to Red Bull, so they're taking Vergne?????? So what going on at Red Bull????

How about you not put words in my mouth eh?

The fact is, Webber has nothing, nothing whatsoever to complain about in terms of 'retaliation'.
So before you ask 'what would be ok for Webber to do', realize the fact that he has no more or less justification to retaliate as Vettel had.

I wouldn't expect any type of retaliation. I think the guy's been around the block long enough to know. What I'd expect is Webber outright fighting wherever he can whenever he does have the advantage over Vettel.

Doesn't happen often so I wouldn't worry about it if I was a Vettel fan.

Yeah, Redbull will be thankful to have this 3 week break when Webber's mind will be rebuilding defences for his hatred...and he should cool down enough for things to go back to their SOP come China, and Vettel to keep winning. Unless Alonso, Kimi, or the Merc guys have something to say about it. 2 more weeks!

How is this different from what he's been doing?

Actively, not passively.

I agree that Webber wont do anything malicious. All he'll do is not help his team mate out.............wait, he's not been helping him out for years. Business as usual

Ah but maybe The last race shenanigans have moved Webber up a league. Maybe they've pushed him from passive to active and he's gonna get himself a bit of that action
