I'm glad Kovy's managing to keep up with Hamilton.
On that note - WTF was up with EJ's comment about Kovalainen's mistake on the last corner? 'I don't believe Hamilton would have allowed such a mistake'. BS. You don't allow mistakes to happen, numpty. It's not like Lewis never makes any mistakes. Eddie really came across as totally biased towards the Brits today, what with that and then him saying 'let's hope he [as in Button] can get past [Vettel]'.

tbh, the programs broadcasting in britain, hes british, brits are paying for the channel, so hes gonna be biased, the brits are who most want to see win.

TBH i don't like that bias the BBC should be impartial it's partly what they are about.

I'm not sure if Alonso can be released from Renault that early also what happens if Massa gets back for Brazil. You would either have to tell Massa he can't come back yet or kick Alonso or Kimi out. Kimi is under firm contract for this year so he will want to finish the season same for Massa.

After thinking about what you said, I have to agree with you...
I guess decisions will be made easier if we know if Felipe can return this year or not with certainty.

IF IF IF IF Felipe can't be 100% to return this year, then do you think it will be wise to move Alonso to Ferrari this year so that Ferrari can develop the car with Alonso for next year?

Utterly BORING qualy session... somehow this track doesnt manage to look exciting. For some reason, it never really felt like real Q.
Mclaren are dominating. Very strong.

I will have to disagree as there are a few very technical section's. I guess I'm the only member here who does not over analize thing's and just enjoy's the sport for what it is.

That's more or less what i mean. The track is good and it should be exciting, i really like the layout and the scenery. But somehow the action doesnt look exciting....... Q ended with cars deciding to park rather than a true shoot out like we've gotten used to, other cars not really making much of a run..... i dont know where to pinpoint it. It just wasnt exciting to watch.

No Tex, you are not the only one. I enjoyed that quali, especially after 4 weeks of nothing. In practice they show the double exposure with two cars taking different lines on Speed TV. I thought that was interesting and entertaining as well.

someone publish the weights please!!

I definately thought Quali was good today. I think this GP has the potential to be much better than last year escpecially with the KERS cars making things that bit interesting.
Ferrari need to replace Badoer for next week. He was very very poor, and i really am interested to see on Monday and Tuesday to see what happens. I dont see Alonso taking the seat mid-season. Piquet coming in would make or break his name once and for all. I cant see Bordais coming back in, but Ferrari need a known name and they need someone who has recent experience at this level in these cars.
The GP tomorrow should be reasonably entertaining, but if nothing else this may be the best GP to have after the month's gap because it means that we are all just eager to see some F1 action. We should all just give it a chance tomorrow.

If Massa was 100% not coming back this year and that Kimi was definitely going for 2010 as well as Alonso being able to get out of his 2009 contract then yes i think it would make sense.

Yah that double exposure was/is awesome and it even caught Hobbs. Anywho Lewis's pace was amazing yet I tend to think that it will be pitstop strategy sorta race. Either way I dont care because I'm gonna be watching F1 tomorrow :cloud9: !!

It's all relative, when you've seen other countries' coverage - for example, Spain - you realise that the UK's coverage is remarkably balanced. At least we talk about non-British drivers, which is more than I can say for the Spanish coverage!

Speed is very impartial - there aren't currently any American drivers in F1. I'm curious how they'll do next year with USF1 on the grid

Ferrari and Santander are going to officially announce their deal at the beginning of the ItalianGP, but there will be no announce about Alonso until the end of the season.
