in all honesty i dont see how the career path of JV has anything to do with Lewis. McLaren will be back and the only thing stopping Lewis from defending his title has been his car.
so why not compare Williams to McLaren? thats the x factor involved in this!

Jenson Button started off at Williams alongside Ralf Schumacher in 2000 in a pretty good car. Ralf Schumacher was on the podium 3 times whilst Button didn't manage once and Williams ended up 3rd in constructors championship. Button could have managed to at least get 5/6th behind Ferrari and MClaren AND his team mate but he ended 8th. So although not the best car, there was a lot of potential.

Was a very strong debut season. Was some benchmark, but then Hamilton blew that away

Lewis had a quiet Monaco race, didn't wreck the car so that is always a plus... unlike Heikki.

I hopw they both have better luck at Istanbul

Lewis must have had a moment in the race too because they changed his front wing during one of the pitstops.

He did, early on, hit a Williams twice.(I think it was a Williams) Didnt realise it was affecting performance as much as it was till the nose changd and he went fast. Wouldnt have made much difference if theyd done it earlier tho, not from where he started at monaco.

I make more money these days betting he wont end up in the points. this time made a bit less cos nobody expected him to actually finish. anyway no... damaged fin or not ... he was gonna stay more or less where he started. stop the wishful thinking. on another note. i know i sometimes use words out of context ( maybe ) but what the heck does "eated it" mean ??. I think we need a wall of fame for the way some people use the english language. we wont see Chris make dumb ones like that one. that was funny..lol
