So Mercedes to deal with a lot of updates. Kinda shows by their fp1 times. Good running by red bull, ferrari and mclaren; i think they can at least have confidence they'll be in the fight.

Now its all a matter of seeing how the track develops, and how Lotus and Mercedes set themselves up. But i would say, between Red bull, Ferrari, Mclaren, Lotus and possibly Merc this race is going to be one of the best.

The only reasonable advantage i see is Q'ing on pole for the clean air for a while. Everything else could very well be up for grabs.

Nice.

The usual then.

Haha yup seems like it

Until something unusual happens. I think there will be a SC for sure. So who knows how it all will go.

But it does seem Mercedes and lotus are having a hard time getting their package together.

I don't think we've ever had a Singapore Grand Prix without a safety car, have we?

Merc and Lotus, well, with regards to the former, it's simply no surprise to see them off the pace, and when it comes to Lotus... I'm finding it harder and harder to imagine them making the top step this year.

Yup
Always an SC. But this time it looks as a given.

Funny thing, lotus is usually quiet; then bam! podium. Mercedes just seem unable to upgrade their car. Mclaren just outdevelops everyone. And also, these yr practice times are pretty reliable, at least for Q.

So considering SC, the possibilty of 1stoppers and the tire wear unknowns; this is probably the most unbettable race of the yr (for P1).

Good stuff indeed hehe

Vettel to take pole and win I'm afraid, I also fear that this could be the race that Kimi starts to fade from the title :(

Dont count on that. Either Mclaren and Alonso can very well go for the win, even starting from 3rd (judging by FP, but i'll trust fp for now). There will almost certain be a safety car; if there's more than 1, then getting pole is even less vital and the thing will go down to tire use and whoever gets their strategy help by the sc.

I just hope the sc is not caused by massa.... Hehehe

Happy at McLaren race pace

The race is on Sunday

Lol
Maybe he follows Lewis on tweeter and already has seen the race simulations

Just from the lap timing stats of 2nd practice Lewis and Kimi had the best race pace. Kimi is slow on quali though, so based on the Friday practice Lewis would be the favourite. Kimi even run wide during 1st practice session at turn 14.

Watching the practice from hotel's balcony some friends booked for the race weekend. Great view over more than half of the track, but tonight going to the grandstands. the whole downtown of the city is really in the F1 party mood; all bars and malls have F1 events.
