Small changes in track conditions can count for a lot as far as an F1 car is concerned.

2 car lengths ahead of a world champion in the same car is pretty telling, even Vettel is nowhere near that much faster than his teammate and we all know what Seb did to him last year in the battle
At Monaco Jenson went fastest in FP2, so he has no excuses come quali that he cant find the grip or balance
Setup changes are allowed especially for rain, anyway its the same for everyone else, yes some cars might suffer proportionally more but still it shouldn't be the reason for a top driver to have the type of drive he had last time out

Not once in parc ferme, tiny adjustments are allowed Sunday morning if its wet but overall setup changes?
Well well, seems McLaren are coming to terms with how much Lewis is desperately needed as a key part of the team's future—a new contract in excess of £100 million appears to be on offer for his continued services. (That's before any bonuses for Championships and obviously does not include personal sponsorship deals). Granted, this has to be considered speculation for now since it hasn't been signed yet. I for one would love to see this marriage continue.
I'm just saying...
I know this might be a bit of a contraversal one, but could Lewis be becoming the next Stirling Moss. Always there or there abouts but never actually winning the title (again)
I have no sympathy and look forward to him assuming his natural position, bleating about 'finding balance' and coming behind better drivers like LH, FA,KR, KK,SP,PM,NR, BS, SV. He should beat Massa though
What you goning to do to him? You sound like an obsessive fan by saying he's just where you want him.
