Well well, seems McLaren are coming to terms with how much Lewis is desperately needed as a key part of the team's future—a new contract in excess of £100 million appears to be on offer for his continued services. (That's before any bonuses for Championships and obviously does not include personal sponsorship deals). Granted, this has to be considered speculation for now since it hasn't been signed yet. I for one would love to see this marriage continue.

Ofcourse no further changes are made once in parc ferme apart from rain. Jenson has a car he can work with this weekend, its fundamentally sound and with his experience he should have no need to moan about the car if he is slower than others, any changes in condition will be the same for the others, he will just not have been as fast as others

Anyway he even has a slight advantage over the rest as he actually use the new tyres in dry conditions

Not really,the car has not been up to scratch since 2008,its as simple as that.

The same could be said about Jenson,could it not?

The season has a long way to run but you would not be a smart betting man if you really think Lewis will never win another WDC.

I have no sympathy and look forward to him assuming his natural position, bleating about 'finding balance' and coming behind better drivers like LH, FA,KR, KK,SP,PM,NR, BS, SV. He should beat Massa though

He's moaned enough for 1 season, hopefully he does better from 12th than his 11th in Barcelona and gains at least 2 positions in the race.
