Err...who gives a damn about how reliable McLaren was in previous years...I'm sorry? We are talking about THIS year's Championship aren't we? So has McLaren been the most reliable this year? Or not?

Err... no we aren't.

Perhaps if you took some minutes and go read the previous pages. MAYBE you'll find a connection between reliability, the past several seasons and the connection between active drivers and their potential of being the greatest ever... some people did. But maybe they are wrong.

Yes I learnt how to spell ridiculous...

:clap::clap: congratulations. i must say, that is one tricky word!

Ah there's the misunderstanding...I already stated I dont care who's greatest ever because it is simply NOT possible. I'd talk about one of the greatest..at most. And our case started when I stated that McLaren have not been the most reliable car this year compared to the other top teams...and you waltz over and said "McLaren has been the most solid car the past 3-4 years"....already taking my statement out of context. I don't care about previous years, I'm talking about this year.

And you accused ME of taking your words out of context/purposely misinterpreting.....geez

I voted Alonso because driving for Ferrari and becoming a champion for Ferrari is the stuff of legends. The only way Lewis Hamilton can ever be like Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen is to swirch to Ferrari and win for them. Whilst at McLaren, everything he does is insignificant just like the insignificant team he currently drives for.

:hehe: You're not at all biased are you AKR! Take note future F1 drivers; unless you drive for Ferrari, you will never achieve greatness!!!

yeh i agree, but greatest of that generation.

so 2000-2020 i guess?

Well that would I guess depend on what qualities you value most. My answer would be Button, because he possesses the characteristics I look for in a driver (Consistency, raw talent, racecraft, strategic mind, kindness to the machinery, down to earth personality, respectful relationship with the teammate, style). Equally though I could understand perfectly good cases being made for Alonso and Hamilton.

Lol, what a crock of brown stuff.

Oh look, stunt-jumpin' Jethro's back with another round of "all opinions which are not the same as my own are clearly absurd".

Completely agree that's why when anyone mentions "Senna" everyone immediately scoffs and says "That Bruno is nothing special...."

You've got the wrong Bruno there...

Sorry..maybe my sarcasm was laid a bit too thick....

What I meant was no one knows about Ayrton since he only drove for 'McLaren' and not the all conquering Ferrari...so everyone only thinks of Bruno when "Senna" is mentioned.

Ahh right, gotcha. Sorry my fault there.

Ayrton Senna, yes I agree he was great, BUT Michael Schumacher is greater. Maybe Senna could of been greater than Schumi, the GREATEST of them all had he did what Schumacher did. WIN FOR FERRARI.
