What Lauda said was words of a three time world champion, itd be nice if people had some respect really......

" Hamilton is one of the best drivers, hed be better if he didnt make these stupid mistakes"

JESUS H CHRIST LAUDA YOU FRIKKIN MADMAN!!!! SOMEBODY GET THIS MAN A STRAIGHT JACKET HES GOING F***ING MAD!!!!!!

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

If that was the actual quote I can 100% agree with Lauda, it mirrors my thoughts on him.
He is no doubt a great driver and has the support package to back him up but he does get involved in a lot of rookie mistakes that he really shouldn't be making.

Ooops can I say that? Can I really give him praise then constructive criticism....... Lol

It's a mark of immaturity that someone in Hamilton's position is having incidents with the likes of Moldonado and Kobayashi. Repeatedly. There's nothing to be gained from a former WDC engaging in urination matches with mid-pack drivers. And if he can't manage to overtake cleanly the drivers in inferior equipment, maybe it's because he doesn't belong at the head of the race.

Hamilton's latest accident occured when he hit a rabbit which ran onto the track. The stewards have decided to move him 5 places back on the grid at the next race for causing avoidable damage to the rabbit.

I thought a rabbit was in control of the car!

Actually, the penalty is for not scraping it off the track and having it for his tea. Apparently, fresh road kill is ok as long as it isn't too badly mangled. The rabbit was definately edible at it wasn't too mangled! :dindins:

The only thing immature was what Maldanado did to Lewis wouldn't you say? Not even a debate needed there from a sane person. As for his move on him at the bus stop there was nothing immature about it from lewis' standpoint.

Also nothing immature about what happened with KK, Lewis' only mistake was thinking Kamui was a normal driver...

This is bullsh*t. Again, :bs:

Reverse the situation and you have Lewis being a noob simply hogging the line on his slowing down lap, when there's a faster car coming behind on its HOT lap. If he slowed down Maldanado, you would've said Hamilton is an immature who thinks he owns the track and doesn't have to let anyone by.

Looking at it from various perspectives, people looking for dirt about a driver will eventually create it, and thats what a few of you are doing here. The incident between Hamilton and Koba was classed as purely a racing incident where two drivers misunderstood each other, but AGAIN...we see it evolving into an incident where Hamilton is to blame.

Seriously, what is with you guys....has he done so many successful overtakes that a couple of incidents he's involved in has to be milked till kingdom come? BORING.

Lets actually get things in percpective here. Lewis is the guy everyone likes to call out for causing accidents. And when he is involved in incidents he is generally unlucky and comes off worse, more often the other car can continue. The perception has become 'Its Lewis' fault'.
Now since Lewis started in F1 four and a half years ago HE'S ONLY TAKEN OUT ONE OTHER DRIVER ON THE RACETRACK!!!! Thats maldonado.

Webbers move round Alonso at Eau Rouge-brilliant. But it relied on a cooperative Alonso and it was whiskers from a touch. Had it gone wrong. Well thats racing.
Now imagine the same move by Lewis, or imagine Lewis in Alonso's position; and there's a touch. Uproar. A danger etc etc
For whatever reason lewis is not receiving fair treatment by a growing number of people, some who should know better.

Do you know such an interesting fact?
To begin with, every racer’s name is an abbreviation on the TV-screen: ALO, MAS, KOB, KOV, ETC.
Lewis has an abbr. HAM. If we transliterate these letters into Ukrainian language (from Roman letters to Cyrillic ones), we will get the word «хам», which means bounder, lout.
So, do you believe it’s a coincidence? :-)
and sorry for my english

MAL doesn't need a translation into Spanish... it means bad.

The perception hasnt become "It's Lewis's fault", the only people that think like that are the fanboys who think everybody is out to get him.
He's been to the stewards a lot this year and they have seen fit to punish him if they think he was to blame, they have a whole heap of data they can access that normal folk dont get to see, if they say it was his fault then chances are then it was.

Did you even read what you wrote about the Webber-Alonso move? "Now imagine the same move by Lewis, or imagine Lewis in Alonso's position; and there's a touch. Uproar. A danger etc etc". They didnt touch... No danger/good racing etc, if Lewis done it and they TOUCHED then it would be dangerous, if Alonso and Webber had touched then it was also be dangerous.
Altho i can see why you would say that about Ham touching if was him instead........ He's just no got the skills :hehe:
