They were Mega in qualifying compared to Alonso :whip:

Well, in that case it shows you have a really high regard for Alonso, since comparison to him seems to be whats most important to you.

Anyway, the redbulls don't seem to have that great race pace, so I think it'll be tight at the front. Just hope Massa keeps it together.

I fcking hate Red Bull, I just can't praise those drivers who rely on the car only. I'm waiting for other teams to start competing with them in qualifying and then we'll see the real game. Kubica is unbelievable, he brought 101% out of his car today, can't even compare him to Petrov, just a class of itself. Tomorrow's race is going to be interesting, as Red Bull don't have SUCH A BIG advantage over others in qualy, which means no advantage in the race.

I'm just can't bear to watch Lewis putting everything out there and getting a 5th place, it's still okay but he's had so much unluck this season and if tomorrow something happens to him again I'm gonna quit watching F1. At least he's showing he's better than Button right now

What a redundant comment. You hate people who rely on the car but apparently all the other drivers need better cars to beat Webber? Just face it, Webber has been handed a fast car and is taking advantage of the speed, you can't rip on him for doing that. Not to mention he's been quick in slower cars, it's just this year his confidence seems to be up.

Right now RB is just too fast for everybody else and I just CAN'T give so much respect to people whose car is 10 times better than others. I know Webber and Vettel are great drivers but I'm waiting for the time when they have an equal car compared to others, then we'll see who's who

30 years on from Jarrier and Daly's flying antics from St Devote, will we see anybody put in a repeat performance today?

*scratches head* Might have done.

But what I was saying is you feel the need to see the McLaren's performance as good since they did a lot better than Alonso. Heck, Massa out qualified you guys.

I think people are skipping over a great rivalary. Everyone is poking and proding, hoping for fireworks within McLaren, Ferrari or Mercedes. Fact is, there aren't any. But there is at Red Bull. Vettel and Webber may seem to get on well on camera, but behind the scenes there has already been fireworks. They don't like losing to each other in the slighest. They've been fighting each quite a bit this year too. Vettel stole the win at Malaysia, then in China Mark jumped Vettel at the start, only for a race long battle resulting in Vettel being slightly ahead. Then at Barcelona they were side by side into turn 1.

Really this year it could, and seems pretty likely to turn into an epic battle between Vettel and Webber.

I know, but why is that a defence to McLaren not being mega?
#199437
Kubica did well in qualifying yesterday, I was surprised he didn't get pole- Webber just came out of no where, I can't stand Webber hes constantly moaning about something for my liking.

I'd rather Kubica had gotten it and I don't like Renault either.

I wonder what todays race will bring, I dont expect miracles from Mclaren, but points hopefully.

...judging by the interviews Buttons seems to be more emotionally volatile than Hamilton.

Being emotional in interviews and being emotional in the car is too very different things; in the car Jenson seems to be much more calm and collected.

Cemented by Lewis bickering with his team on the radio :nono: .
#199442
Lewis firing out diatribe about brakes over the radio at something like 150mph.

Im actually impressed that he can concentrate & drive at that speed whilst having a spat with the team.
