Be only the third time the No. 1 has appeared on Sir Frank's cars despite the number of Champions he's had.

If it is not a setup, then I quite agree!

Sir Frank likes to love them and leave them.

Jenson can win the championship.
Unfortunately, Jenson can, it seems, win the championship by tooling around in the midfield.
Even more unfortunately, that appears to be what Jenson is doing.

Yeah well, that's about to backfire on him in two hours time.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

def seems theres more RB fans than JB on here...

I don't think it's a matter of who is whose fan. Rubens has been giving us race after race of racing his socks of. Jenson on the other hand......

That was definately the case with Damon and Mansell. Although in other cases Prost retired, Piquet got fed up with Mansell and Peter Warr signed Piquet in an attempt to "get one over Senna" for moving to McLaren, Jones retired after he failed to defend the title and JV... well enough said about him. :P

Jenson showed what is capable of today claiming his first world drivers championship but it's frustrating that he wasn't this aggressive before, stating he wasn't going to take risks to claim the championship before the ultimate race. At least JB won the championship with charging drive instead of crossing the championship finishing line with a whimper.

The goal of a championship = score the most points over course of a season.

Jenson has done that with 6 wins along the way! no question he is deserving, well done JB!

If Williams manage to bring out a race winning car Ill be damned and Im sure Rubens is in his last couple of years, 2011 imo be his last champ if he is lucky and I dont think he will get in a car more competitive in a Williams, Rubens is still get me wrong but not in a Williams this is going to be Honda all over again maybe a little better though than with Honda but not race winning material. Dont get me wrong on the driver though, Rubens is excellent and would love to see him win a title and I think he can do it in the right car and if he had the time.

Bu his time in F1 is nearly at an end I think his final days will be at a Williams, if he was 5 years younger I would still rule him as a future title contender but in 2 years time he will be 40 I think and teams will just start thinking he is to old and wont get a drive regardless of his skill.

Also congradulations to Jenson Button on winning the Drivers Champ this year

I have to laugh at the BBC headlines. Yesterday Jenson was a "flop" and today he's "brilliant".

An embarrassing day for Formula One. It doesn't happen very often, but we've now a guy with relatively average talent and no fighting spirit as champion. Say what you like about Rosberg, Hill and Villeneuve, but they did their best with the equipment and opportunities on offer. Criticise Schumacher and Hamilton for being arrogant, but they wanted to win everything they entered. All were racers. Button is quite unlike anything I've ever seen or read of at either end of the Formula One spectrum. 2009 has been a farce.
