So anyone think Fernando will get in trouble over this and postpone the announcement to Ferrari?

Seems like Piquet and Symonds have much more to do with it than Alonso...

I said much more to do with it than Alonso, which it would seem like reading all the quotes from people involved.

It's all BS made up by Piquet anyway, so kinda a moot point arguing over who is to blame. Although i bet you'd love to see Alonso in trouble.

He doesn't necessarily have to be involved. Renault wanted to stay in the sport, but the board were rumoured to be considering a pull-out. Similarly, the team wanted to retain Alonso, but up until that point the team's form was not up to scratch. He didn't have to be part of the plot, assuming there was one.

admit it, if he came back to Mclaren won the WDC and WCC for us you'd be saying he's a ledgend

took a dislike to him too after 2007 but hes just a top driver you can't knock him for that.

Piquet's a bit of an idiot isn't he? Who's going to want him on their team now? His driving wasn't much of a recommendation to start with but he's really shot himself in the foot after this.
