Alonso's made too many mistakes to be considered the best driver, even with help he lags behind.

Well I wouldn't consider Hamilton the best either. He is just one lucky prick. Even at Spa this year, he goes off road and simply misses hitting the wall, comes back on the track and wins. But when Alonso loses it he actually hits something and is out. I hope Hamilton goes off and out in Monza. The crowd will love it as will I.

He's had bad luck I agree, otherwise he'd be waaaaaaaaaaay ahead in the championship, but mistakes???Hes made less than the other title contenders.

I tend to think Lewis has done the most wrong things. I think he's had 2 warnings, passed a SC (when he could see the complete back of the car and it was the 2nd time he's done that), hit Vettel twice, ran off and lost it, hmm that's a pretty out of control list for one season from where I sit. And then there's his off track activities bringing F1 into disrepute such as being a convicted "hoon" in the year the FiA is trying to promote road safety. Had his fellow Brit, Charlie Whiting, the Race Director for those races, given him actual penalties he'd probably be way back in the championship race.

He's passed the safety car and he crashed in a practise session. Thats it. Take the glasses off 8)

So you'll just forget about him hitting Vettel twice? Forget the warning and pit lane racing with Red Bulls and Ferrari's? Forget about his "hoon" conviction... loosing it at Spa.....
I think I know who's gotta get the glasses off :)

Agreed, Lewis needs to cut out his mistakes. Even with this shopping list of mistakes...he's leading the WDC and kickin everyones ar*es.

I can't wait till he improves his mistake-prone self and gets even better. Can you? :drink:

By two points? And redbull and Alonso seemingly having a big fat irresistible self destruct button?

Hamilton is an aggressive driver; this is why he makes quite a few mistakes (not many, anyway).
So I don't think he'll improve on that, because making less mistakes for him would mean to be less agressive; and I just can't see that happening.

Well, excuse Lewis for only being 2 points in the lead without having the fastest car in the field...

And the 2nd question, sorry I don't see how that is Lewis' problem.

It's still only his 4th season in F1. And he's led the WDC/won it in 3 of the 4 he's competed so far. Maybe his racecraft isn't as honed as Jenson since this is probably Jensons 300th season in F1...but Lewis will get there. Experience only adds value, just ask Jenson.

A better car adds value. Ask... anybody. :hehe:

Hamilton = McLaren= no future= insignificant.

Hamilton will continue to be a "lewser" for as long as he is at the worst team in F1.

Guess he's just that good...for the team principal of one of the best teams in F1 to put him in 1 of the cars in his rookie season...where he matched/defeated Mr2times. :hehe:

2nd worst.
HRT is pretty messed up :hehe::wink::)

Oops I meant worst cheating team. Ie. Spy Gate. If Ferrari are cheats for using team orders, then that's a petty crime compared to stealing Ferrari intellectual data.
