Mosley claims its all a hoax
"I don't take it as seriously as some people do because I know that it is all posturing and posing,"

Then why did he feel the need to take legal action. Clearly there is fear. Max knows that if these teams leave, the FIA and F1 are doomed.

WTF? Mosley's statement is contradictory to his earlier statement about suing the FOTA teams. And what about the scenario of 11 new teams + Williams and Force India being given entry only for the FIA to say actually eight of you can't race despite spending millions on development of your cars because FOTA changed their minds!!!

Hoop the FOTA breaks away, and starts a new serie with the old circuits Like Spa, Montreal, Zandvoord in Holland and keep Silverstone etc
Hoop the FOTA can make a deal with Monaco .
let there be one class in the car racing ware there are no limits,
Not in money, speed or technical limitations. if the cars go to fast the cars goes of the circuits.
i think the limit must be fuel (amount and type) Motor capacity and type (No turbo's)
No electronic interference between the drivers input and the car, so no fly by wire cars.

And let the ticket price for a race be normal again no more than 50 Pound/Euro or so.

back to the day's that racing was dangerous and the umpalumpa was save

im still not convinced. I think that its all coming back to bite max on the arse. N i also think that bernie is too clever (and greedy) to let it slip away from him. I say that max needs to be shifted from office. He was tryin to do good things in the wrong way, n he has lost all his credibility.
If the breakaway happens (and the closer to midnight we get the more likely it is to happen), we will all follow our teams, not the fia. the only bad thing is, it will go to sky, n the beeb will be left with the left overs of F1, back to breaks!
my only question is can the breakaway organize the logistics and get good circuits?

Asked whether he would consider quitting if it meant peace, the 69-year-old said: "Absolutely, but you know they'd go after the next person and then the next, until they got what they wanted which is to take the power to run the sport away from the FIA.

"It's something that can't happen. They're challenging the governing body of motorsport and that will not succeed.

"I haven't lost control, if anything the accusation is that I've taken too much control.

"I don't want to go on too long, but everything they are doing is counterproductive. The FIA say 'there is all this trouble, we're being attacked, you must stay.'

Who's going to believe this? Max doesn't want to stay on, it's the FIA begging him to stay. Yeah, right.

The fool is apparently unaware that the mark of a truly great leader is knowing, against protestation, it is time to step down.
