Are liable to cut off! :yikes:

At least a pen is mightier than a sword so a knife should be a doddle!

That sentence is so British I don't even know what to do. You confused my 'Murican brain.

:headpat:

Don't worry, most of us are still trying to work it out. The only conclusion is that it must have been one hell of a big pen. :hehe:

I don't think I'm really too bothered by the breaking of team orders, what bothers me more is that Webber obeying team orders would've let his guard down against Vettel and wouldn't have been expecting what Vettel did and Vettel took advantage of that. When Vettel went for it they weren't racing on the terms they should have been.

Someone that would not have figured out after 8 more corners that the fight was one, would be such a big idiot he couldn't even drive a Formula One car. The overtake happened 13 corners after any sane Formula One driver would have known the fight was on.

I think Webber did realise, he put up a fight too, but when he realised how stupid and risky it was he backed off, rather sensibly I feel.

Again, that's not what stonemonkey said.
But I'm glad you agree with me that 'he did realize'.

He'd be a bit odd if he didn't notice the red bull that was parallel with him!

Mark Webber & Sebastian Vettel: Red Bull say row is settled

They have moved on, so maybe we can too...?

Red Bull boss Helmut Marko says the row between Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel is now "settled".

Marko said the two shook hands after a post-race discussion of Vettel's decision to ignore team orders and pass Webber to win the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Marko added that Vettel had been "distressed" by the situation, adding: "I don't think he will do that again.

"They don't have to be completely on the same page but it must be a solid working partnership," Marko said.

"Sebastian apologised in the press conference, and that's the first correct step to take.

"In the debrief afterwards there was the relevant discussions about the race and then there was a handshake between the two drivers.

"For us, now, the issue is settled."

Marko, who is the right-hand man of Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz and a champion of Vettel within the team, said he believed the triple world champion had learned an important lesson.

"He doesn't have to change as a whole," Marko said, "but I think Sebastian was distressed, he was surprised by his radical way of tackling it and I don't think he will do that again."

And he insisted the team had been helpless to intervene during the race to stop Vettel disobeying the order to stay behind Webber.

"We told Sebastian to hold his position because we didn't know what the tyre situation was and both drivers need to bring home a good finish for the team," Marko said.

"But then came the attack against that strategy and it got out of control. You couldn't control it over radio or anything like that. Sebastian the racer came out and took the lead."

Considering how Webber looked and what he said about "Doing a lot of thinking in those last 15 laps", I struggle to think that this is the case... Really, really struggle. This is a case of Marko wanting to keep his Vettel looking good in the media.

We all know that Marko is a fanboy of Vettel; and this just goes to prove it; like Mark said on the podium, Vettel has protected status within Red Bull; he's the golden boy who will never be wrong... I don't believe that Webber has forgotten about it and moved on, if he didn't know his place within Red Bull before, he certainly knows now! I don't buy any of the BS that Vettel spouted after the race; accidentally overtook and held the lead for 15 laps... it was a premeditated move; open and shut case!

MOA, I hope Vettel get's extremely disciplined even if its behind the scenes just because it was a sausage move.
