Pretty interesting, and totally new rear on the RB7...

I think i can see what you mean but the angle isn't very good, do you have any other shots of it?

Autosport live timing dude is retarded.

" people are wondering whether saubers pace is genuine (perez second from top so far), considering how fast it was in 2010 testing before flopping the rest of the season"

actually you moron kobayashi in particular scored a point in almost every race he finished. Some people claim to follow F1 but its clear they only focus on their chosen driver and team. Bit of common sense please.

according to autosport there is to be an informal race simulation of the rear wing overtaking. Excited about this if its to happen.

between the teams? where they set each other up on the straight and feel the tow?

That's where Webber keeps his keg of Foster's. :D

Apparently so, Autosport says they are passively going to try and get one down at jerez, but they are definitely planning to do it at bahrain tests too.

Whether they actually do one at Jerez and whether its today tomorrow or the weekend i dont know but ill let you know if i find out.

Oh god Rosbergs stopped on track, again.

This year does not look good at all for Mercedes so far, and theyve spent the most time planning for it.

Testing bugs. It all depends on pace, dont count Merc out yet. They have a genius for a team boss.

13:13 Some more insight into Webber's stint:

Rather than his times dropping off after the first laps, he got faster, increased pace steadily over the first 10 laps, then decreased slightly towards the end: 25.1, 24.3, 23.8, 23.7, 23.5, 23.5, 23.4, 23.1, 23.0, 23.9, 23.1, 23.2, 26.6, 23.0, 23.3, 23.5, 24.1, 24.7.

His average of 1m23.864s was inflated by the single 1m26s lap. Will keep an eye out for other leading teams when they attempt similar runs.

Good insight as to just how long the tyres appear to be holding on for on that Red Bull. Meanwhile the times from a 14 lap stint for Rosberg paint quite a bleak picture:

28.1, 23.9, 23.9, 24.4, 24.5, 24.3, 24.6, 25.0, 26.2, 25.4, 25.3, 26.1, 26.0, 25.7

This was right before he stopped, so either the problem gradually slowed him down or those tyres started going off immediately... or he was on old tyres (but that wouldn't make much sense).

And here, an (annoying) comparison i found between the Red Bull and Ferrari. The RB is so damn compact at the rear end, apparently because of a much shorter but wider fuel tank...

But look at it this way. During testing, the Sauber showed the kind of pace you'd expect from a team ready to mount a title challenge. They started the season horribly and ended up 8th... ;)
